With pure white sandy beaches, and views of the Gulf of Mexico that
take your breath away, Destin sits in the panhandle of Northwest Florida
centrally located between Pensacola, Florida and Panama City Beach, Florida.

area attracts over 4,100,000 visitors during the year.
There are many attractions and options for shopping, education, churches,
and family entertainment.
- Destin, known worldwide as "World's Luckiest Fishing Village," is
the host to several fishing tournaments/rodeos.
- It is on the tour of the Offshore Racing Boat circuit.
- Also one of the stops for the Senior PGA golf circuit.
- The Silver Sands Outlet Mall is a favorite place to shop for bargains
on name brands.
Destin Weather
Destin is a prime location for the snowbirds to getaway to moderate
temperatures and pleasant surroundings. The mean temperature stays in the
60's from November through March. There are both long and short term visitors.
The rest of the year, Destin enjoys temperatures in the 70's and 80's and
even into the 90's the month of August.
Destin Schools
Destin is very fortunate to be served by excellent school systems from
City of Destin, Okaloosa County, and Walton County. There are also
several private schools. For the college bound Okaloosa-Walton Community
College is in Niceville, which is just across the Mid-Bay Toll Bridge.
So, if you are enjoy laying on beautiful white sand beaches, swimming in
the Gulf of Mexico, taking a casual boat ride, deep-sea fishing, hanging out
at Crab Island, playing a round of golf, or visiting one of our water parks,
you must come to Destin.
