Little Rock, Arkansas - After helping hundreds of buyers and sellers with all of their real estate needs for the past 22 years, Little Rock Realtor Chuck Goodrich has another great accomplishment to add to his long career.
Chuck recently received the L. Wayne Camp Award for his service and support of the Arkansas Special Olympics organization. The award is given annually to an Arkansas Realtor who provides continuous and unselfish service to the Arkansas Special Olympics for many years.
"I was very surprised, excited and honored to win this award," said Chuck. "It is an honor you really don't seek as your true reward is that you are doing volunteer work for the children and not for the personal gain."
Chuck was honored with the award based on his quiet support of the Special Olympics in Arkansas for many years. As he was presented with the award, the presenter announced, "Chuck's huge heart and spirit made this year's selection an easy choice. You never have to ask him to do anything. He is the first to help and last to complain."
In 1986, Arkansas Realtors® Association President L. Wayne Camp charged the association's Make America Better Committee with a statewide community service project which was volunteerism and fundraising for the Arkansas Special Olympics. In his honor, the L. Wayne Camp award was established in 1998 as the ARA's highest public relations award to recognize a Realtor's continuing and outstanding volunteerism for the Arkansas Special Olympics. It is distributed annually at the ARA Convention to those who follow in Mr. Camp's footsteps of outstanding volunteerism and fundraising for the Arkansas Special Olympics. The ARA has raised more money for the Arkansas Special Olympics than any other organization in the area.
In addition to being a proud supporter of the Special Olympics for a long time, Chuck has been involved with many other community service efforts and organizations including being a current Lion's Club president.
For more than two decades, Chuck has been a licensed Realtor in Texas and Arkansas. Chuck currently works with the Crye-Leike, REALTORS REO Branch in Central Arkansas which specializes in the management and liquidation of bank owned properties. He is a member of the National Association of Realtors and the Arkansas Association of Realtors where he is actively involved on the Public Relations Committee, the Professional Standards Committee, the Professional Development Committee, and the Convention Committee.
Chuck assists buyers and sellers with all types of residential real estate sales specializing in commercial and investment properties. He assists clients in and around Pulaski, Saline and Lonoke counties. Chuck has his professional real estate designations as a Certified Residential Specialist (CRS), Graduate Realtor Institute (GRI), and an Accredited Buyer Representative (ABR).
