SMYRNA, TN.- Realtors in Crye-Leike's Smyrna office are continuing their tradition of hosting a chili cook-off fundraiser this fall. This will be their eighth year to organize the event and proceeds from this year's luncheon will benefit the North Rutherford County YMCA's Restore Ministries Program.
"For our office and agents, this is our big fundraiser for the year, and a delicious one at that," said Richcreek. "It allows the agents to come together as an office and raise money for a great cause within the community. This year's benefactor of the chili cook-off is a great program that truly helps people within the community in a variety of ways. We feel the North Rutherford County YMCA's Restore Ministries Program is a very deserving recipient of the funds that we will raise this year."
Agents from the office will be dusting off their cook-books and preparing their best chili recipes in hopes of winning the honor as ‘Best Chili Cook' and in hopes of helping raise lots of money for charity like they have done in past years for several local organizations.
More than a dozen different styles of chili will be served for lunch on Tuesday, October 25th as the Crye-Leike Smyrna Realtors host their 8th annual chili cook-off at their branch office located at 599 Sam Ridley Parkway in West Smyrna.
The Realtors invite the public to join them for lunch from 11:00am to 1:00pm. Lunch tickets will be on sale for $5, and everyone who purchases a ticket can sample different chili recipes, toppings, soups and soft drinks. Hot dogs and desserts will also be on sale and additional monetary donations will be accepted to help raise money for the designated charity.
"We personally invite the community to this fun annual event and hope to see many people stop by our office for a tasty chili lunch and join our efforts in supporting this wonderful charity," said Richcreek.
