CSP - Certified New Home Sales Professional

Sales associates who hold the CSP designation have mastered the selling process and the art of customer service. They have gained a broad understanding of the details and craftsmanship of home construction, how the home building business works, including the financial and legal aspects of new homes sales as well as have learned the important differences between selling new and resale homes.

Associates learn the advanced techniques and consumer psychology used by seasoned real estate experts, and gain a broad understanding of how the home building business works, including the financial and legal aspects of new home sales.

The Certified New Home Sales Professional Program consists of 24 classroom hours. In this course associates learn to:

Sharpen selling skills.
Find out how to use the selling process to meet goals. Discover and practice the natural and logical process of home selling using critical path selling skills; greeting, qualifying, demonstrating, handling objections and closing.

Relate to the customer's point of view.
Associates gain marketing research insight and make it the basis of their sales presentation. Associates will understand the details and craftsmanship of home construction and learn how to translate the facts into benefits that encourage prospects to buy. Associates also learn how to encourage buyers by understanding their needs and desires.

Make the important details work harder.
Associates learn the important differences between selling new and resale homes and master the art of customer service to keep buyers happy both during and after the sale. Your CSP will implement proven techniques that produce qualified referrals, understand Fair Housing Laws and apply them to real life situations and discover new ways to use financing as a sales tool.

The Certified New Home Sales Professional designation (CSP) is a designation governed by the National Association of Home Builders.
