The CRP program recognizes Newton's knowledge of the entire relocation industry and requires awareness of residential real estate and appraising, corporate relocation policies and issues, relocation tax and legal issues, and family relocation issues.
There are 4,913 Employee Relocation Council (ERC) members who hold the CRP designation. Newton was one of 521 who was awarded the designation during the May administration of the 2001 exam. ERC members must earn 30 re-certification credits within each three-year period following certification to maintain their CRP designation.
