Memphis, TN: Crye-Leike Real Estate Services was the number one donor for the Youth Villages' 5K/10Miler for the 37th consecutive year, raising approximately $5K between the agents and employees alone. The event was held on Saturday, April 13th and several Crye-Leike affiliates braved the rain to participate.
The Crye-Leike Memphis area branch offices have been involved in the race every year since it began in 1982. Chris Crye, the late son of CEO and Co-founder Harold Crye, was an avid supporter of Youth Villages. In his memory, the agents and employees of Crye-Leike carry on a tradition of caring for kids who deserve every opportunity to learn and succeed. A portion of the money raised by this race also supports the Chris Crye Mentoring Program at Youth Villages.
Paula Dismuke, a member of the Youth Villages Committee and Crye-Leike employee, organized the participation and donations of the Crye-Leike branch offices and is proud of the impact the company has had on this event.
"I have been fortunate to have been involved with this Youth Villages event for the past four years," said Dismuke. "Seeing the outpouring support from agents and employees of Crye-Leike in the Memphis region for this organization has truly touched my heart. By our donations, and that of Crye-Leike, we will ensure that the legacy of Chris Crye continues."
