NASHVILLE, TENN - Give the gift of life at Crye-Leike Real Estate Services' blood drive in Hermitage on August 14, 2021 from 10 a.m. - 3 p.m. Hosted by Blood Assurance, the drive will take place at the Crye-Leike Hermitage branch office, located at 4723 Andrew Jackson Parkway, Hermitage, TN 37076.

Approximately 800 pints of blood are needed each day in the Greater Nashville area, with each pint of blood saving as many as three lives. Because of this, Crye-Leike Realtor and Blood Drive Coordinator Joyce Friedman have teamed up with Blood Assurance to organize a drive at each of the 22 Crye-Leike offices in the Middle Tennessee region throughout the coming year.

"Crye-Leike believes in giving back to the communities that give so much to us," said Friedman, a Crye-Leike real estate agent who has served her community for 27 years with various community initiatives throughout the years. "We are organizing these drives because, during the summer months, the need for blood in local hospitals increases due to travel related injuries, outdoor accidents and scheduled surgeries, while donations often decrease because regular donors are busy with travel and vacation plans. We hope lots of people will join us in giving the gift of life this year."

On August 14, Blood Assurance will have a bloodmobile parked outside of the Crye-Leike Hermitage office with fully trained technicians to assist donors. On behalf of Blood Assurance, donors at this drive will receive an "Adventure Begins" cooler bag, be entered for a chance to win a $100 Target gift card, and those who donate twice in 2021 will be entered into a giveaway for a side-by-side.
