PEACHTREE CITY, GA. - Crye-Leike Real Estate Services has named Maricela Laverde branch manager of its Peachtree City office. Laverde brings five years of real estate experience to the position and looks forward to continuing to serve the Peachtree City community.

Chicago native Laverde began her professional career as a pricing/statistics analyst for various corporations, including Mexicana Airlines, United Airlines and Sears. In 2014, she and her family moved to Georgia, where Laverde earned her real estate license four years later. She has earned multiple awards during her time in the industry, including the Fayette County Board of REALTORS Circle of Achievement Award and the President's Circle Award at her previous brokerage.

"I am honored to be the branch manager for Peachtree City," said Laverde. "I love helping people grow and being involved in my community, and this role will allow me to continue to contribute to my city."

In addition to real estate, Laverde stays involved in her community through various other projects. Since 2021, she has organized the Hispanic Heritage Festival of Peachtree City and planned live Spanish concerts throughout the year. Additionally, she is the creator and organizer of Thriving Kit for Women, a women empowerment event that helps aspiring entrepreneurs take their businesses to the next level.
