Nashville, Tenn. - Crye-Leike Commercial Real Estate Brokerage & Property Management of Rutherford County announces the affiliation of Patrick L. Thornton as a broker in its Smyrna, Tenn. branch office.
A Nashville resident since 1983, Thornton specializes in residential and commercial development, serving Davidson, Williamson, Rutherford, Sumner and Wilson counties. He has over 19 years of real estate experience, including owning and managing several national real estate franchise companies in Middle Tennessee.
Prior to joining Crye-Leike Commercial, he was president of The Concord Company, Realtors; a partner in Classic Design Builders, Inc. and worked as a new construction specialist for Spencer Hall Development in Franklin, Tenn.
Thornton has received multiple sales achievement awards from the Greater Nashville Association of Realtors and the Tennessee Home Builders Association. His most recent award was the Top Producer - Prestige Homes Award, presented by Prestige Homes Builders for attaining the most closed transactions.
He also holds the certified residential specialist designation, CRS, the highest nationally recognized professional credential awarded to Realtors in the residential sales field. To earn the CRS credential, Thornton demonstrated professional expertise in the field of residential real estate, had a proven track record of real estate transactions and an advanced education in related areas with an emphasis in finance, technology and marketing.
Thornton is a member of the National and Greater Nashville Associations of Realtors. He is also involved in his local community where he coaches a girls' softball team, including serving as a non-faculty coach for Franklin High School's Lady Rebels for two years.
When asked why he made the change, he replied, "I made the change to grow into a first class real estate organization like Crye-Leike," said Thornton.
