Purchasing holiday greeting cards designed by Youth Villages' children are an annual tradition with Crye-Leike, Realtors' sales associates who have raised additional funds for the charity each Christmas season.
Crye-Leike recently announced at its January annual meeting that a total of $28,780 was raised for Youth Villages from its 21st annual Campaign for Children.
Crye-Leike's Campaign for Children is an in-house fund-raiser held each December during the holiday season among its sales associates and corporate staff in the greater metropolitan areas of Memphis and Nashville. Those areas include Crye-Leike branch offices in Davidson, Fayette, Grundy, Maury, Montgomery, Robertson, Rutherford, Shelby, Sumner, Williamson and Wilson counties in Tennessee; Crittendon County in Arkansas; and DeSoto County in Mississippi.
Monies collected during Crye-Leike's Campaign for Children were used to purchase holiday gifts for the children of Youth Villages and to support its mentoring program throughout the year.
Since 1981, Crye-Leike, Realtors has raised in excess of $291,000 for Youth Villages. All proceeds raised are designated toward the Chris Crye Fund, in memory of real estate broker Chris Crye, an active volunteer and supporter of Youth Villages and son of Crye-Leike co-founder and CEO who experienced an untimely death in 1998.
