Little Rock, Ark. - Crye-Leike, Realtors, the 13th largest real estate company in the nation, announces the expansion of its Little Rock branch office, a move prompted by the company's growing sales force in the area.

Harold E. Crye, chief executive officer, discloses that the company has relocated its current sales force of 37 sales associates to West Little Rock into its new Crye-Leike Hinson Road branch office, located at 11719 Hinson Road, Suite 100.

Johnny McKay will continue to serve as managing broker. The additional 5,700 square feet of leased office space will provide room for growth and expansion of its sales force up to 45 sales associates, says McKay.

Crye-Leike will retain its current location at 1130 Financial Centre Parkway, Suite 900, to serve as the company's regional headquarters, housing facilities for agent training as well as administrative offices for accounting, marketing and relocation corporate staff.

"This is a nice problem to have and our company's sales growth further reflects our need to expand our offices to better serve the area," says Crye. "Since we established our regional foothold in Little Rock this past June, the company's growth in Arkansas real estate sales has more than doubled."

Crye-Leike of Arkansas, Inc. disclosed a record fourth-quarter sales at $25.8 million in 2002, representing a 114.7 percent increase over same-quarter results a year prior. Its 244 real estate property sales in the fourth quarter of 2002 represent a 102 percent increase over comparable quarterly results a year prior.

Crye-Leike's new Hinson Road office will serve the real estate needs of buyers and sellers in the Greater Little Rock area, Pulaski County and in Maumelle and North Little Rock until Crye-Leike offices are opened in those areas, says Crye who plans to establish up to seven branch offices surrounding the metro area of Little Rock over the next three years. Future plans include opening offices in Benton, Bryant and North Little Rock.

Crye-Leike's Hinson branch office features private and semi-private offices to accommodate top producers as well as has every office pre-wired so agents can connect to Crye-Leike's high speed computer network in order to better serve their technology needs.

Along with the convenience of being open seven days a week for its customers, Crye-Leike's Hinson branch office also offers a myriad of services like those offered in the company's other regional markets, including: relocation services; commercial business and investment real estate services and franchise sales. Future plans include the addition of other real estate services by year-end, including property leasing and management services; home services; mortgage lending facilities; insurance services; title services; auction services and apartment locator services.
