Nashville, Tenn. - One of the largest homes in Hermitage, called Treemont, a custom built estate over 15,000 square feet, will be open to the public for a private home tour on Thurs., September 18, 2003, 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. for the benefit of United Way of Middle Tennessee.
Crye-Leike, Realtors' Hermitage branch office is sponsoring the United Way fund raiser and is providing patrons a personal Wine & Cheese Home Tour of Treemont at a cost of $10 per person.
Resting on 8.77 wooded acres, Treemont was custom built in 1985 by the late Charles H. Turner, a local home builder and land developer, and his wife, Ginger. It is located at 4125 Saundersville Road.
The home tour will show the two-story, seven-bedroom house fully furnished and appointed with the owners' attention to detail as custom homebuilders. As you tour through the home, you will see accent furnishings from a castle in England, featured windows from a Cathedral Church and interior living room doors hand carved from Guatemala.
Treemont includes: two kitchens and freezer room, a Florida room, 50 x 47 ft. recreation room, workout room, seven full baths, two half-baths and a six-car garage. Features include: solid hardwood and walnut and mahogany in-laid floors, marble floors, 10 ft. ceilings with crown moldings, cedar-lined closets, a gazebo, Jacuzzi and hot tub, and elevator.
Crye-Leike sales associate Traci Johnson, who is the daughter of Treemont owner Ginger Turner and her father, Charles, who passed away just four years ago, is representing her mother in the sale of the property at an asking price of $2.2 million.
"Being a Realtor, I can't tell you how many times I have been asked by various people if they could get a tour of my parent's house," says Johnson. "Now that Treemont is up for sale, it just seemed the perfect opportunity to invite the public for a private home tour of Treemont and benefit Untied Way at the same time, which is Crye-Leike's major company-sponsored charity."
Tickets for the Wine & Cheese Home Tour of Treemont must be purchased in advance from Crye-Leike, Realtors at 4723 Andrew Jackson Parkway. For further information, call 615/391-9080.
