Sandestin, FL., - Over 400 Crye-Leike associates from nine states gathered on the sandy beaches of Sandestin, Florida this October for a circus-themed annual company conference to discuss new trends in technology and marketing.
Crye-Leike cofounders, Harold Crye and Dick Leike, shared that home sales volume were up compared to figures for the company from the previous year. Harold Crye reported how removing MLS listings from Zillow and Trulia in three Crye-Leike regions was yielding positive sales results with more regions soon to follow. Crye-Leike's award winning web site, www.crye-leike.com, gives customers immediate access to accurate information on all available listings on the market. Eight new branch office openings were also announced in four of the nine states Crye-Leike serves.
Attendees enjoyed grandstand training sessions by nationally recognized speakers including Lawrence Yun, Chief Economist with the National Association of REALTORS, and real estate trainer Rick DeLuca. Yun shared how Crye-Leike's sales are performing above the national average and that the South overall is outperforming all other regions across the country. DeLuca inspired agents with strategies on how to maintain long-term relationships with their clients.
Several announcements were made to agents and managers including introduction of the Beverly Carter Safety School that will keep agents updated on current safety standards. The class will be requirement for agents to complete before graduating from Crye-Leike College, the company's internal real estate education and training program.
Crye-Leike's information technology group unveiled a sneak peak of a new agent branded mobile app. With this personalized mobile app, every associate with a Crye-Leike web site will now also have a direct link to share with their customers. Buyers working with a Crye-Leike associate will have access to the most accurate and timely listings with all the photos.
Big top events from the conference included magicians, vendor show, volleyball and golf tournaments, a talent show full of jumbo acts and much more. It was high-flying, extravaganza for all in attendance.
