Chattanooga, TN - Susan Barnette, ABR, CRS, GRI of Crye-Leike Realtors was installed as the 2016 President of the Chattanooga Chapter of the Women's Council of Realtors (WCR) in a ceremony held at the Chattanooga Choo-Choo on December 2, 2015.

 

Barnette will serve a one year term as President and will be responsible for presiding at Governing Board and Chapter meetings, appointing all committees, disseminating applicable materials and information to officers/members, coordinates officer and committee activities and responsibilities, make certain Chapter bylaws are up to date and amendments reported to the national WCR office, attend WCR sessions at the State and National Association of Realtors Midyear and Annual Conferences.

 

"I am honored to be serving in this position and look forward to working with my team toward success in our real estate business, as it is achieved through positive, productive relationships," said Barnette.

 

WCR Chattanooga Chapter recently held their annual Bra's For A Cause event which allowed them to donate $2500 to the Mary Ellen Locher Foundation to be used for scholarships. "We already have the 2016 date for our next event and look forward to working with the Mary Ellen Locher Foundation again," said Barnette. Mary Ellen Locher Foundation scholarships are given to the children of breast cancer patients, either survivors or deceased.
