Memphis, Tenn. (March 18, 2016) - Tennessee-based Crye-Leike, the nation's fourth largest privately-held residential real estate brokerage firm and largest in Tennessee and the Mid-South, posted a record sales year of close to $5.7 billion in 2015, the second highest sales performance in the company's 39-year history. In comparison, the company reached its peak sales performance at $6.1 billion in 2006.

Crye-Leike's $5.74 billion sales volume companywide in 2015 was up 7.29 percent from $5.35 billion through Dec. 2014. These 2015 figures represent Crye-Leike's 3,000+ sales associates handling 31,826 closings within a nine-state region, a 3.89 percent increase from the 30,633 closings reported through Dec. 2014.

Crye-Leike's 2015 sales figures include new and existing single-family homes, condos and duplexes as well as commercial properties within a nine-state regional market area (Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Mississippi, Missouri, Oklahoma, and Tennessee). Sales figures also include production from 111 branch and franchise offices in operation during 2015 and represent the sales volume of both listing and selling sides of a real estate transaction, which involve a buyer and a seller.

Chief Information Officer Gurtej Sodhi notes that the company's most powerful marketing tool is how Crye-Leike embraces technology with its Web site, Crye-Leike.com, which registers over 12,000 visitors per day and 30 million hits per month. Additionally, there have been over 10,000 downloads on Crye-Leike's mobile app, says Sodhi.

Over 55 percent of Crye-Leike's total web traffic is now mobile and that is increasing rapidly. Crye-Leike's mobile app, which displays real-time real estate listings in nine states, is available on the App Store for IPhone or Android.

The regional reports that follow disclose 2015 sales totals for each of Crye-Leike's seven regional territories located in Alabama, Arkansas, Georgia, Mississippi, Missouri, Oklahoma and Tennessee as well as cumulative totals within its franchise territories in Ark., Fla., Ky., Miss. and Tenn.

In summary, Crye-Leike's West Tenn. Region outperformed all other Crye-Leike regions reporting $1.41 billion in sales in 2015. Its Middle Tenn. Region ranks No. 2 in sales performance at $1.21 billion, followed by Arkansas at $1.18 billion; Southeast Tenn. at $376.23 million; Mississippi at $372.56 million; Alabama at $273.56 million; Georgia at $224.87 million; East Tennessee at $206.65 million; Oklahoma at $23.9 million; and Missouri at $6.4 million, just opening in Dec. 2014. When combining all four Tennessee regions (West, Middle, East and Southeast), Crye-Leike had a total sales volume performance of $3.20 billion in Tennessee for 2015.

ALABAMA REGION. Crye-Leike's Alabama Region includes sales from its 109 sales associates located in five branch offices, including Huntsville. Crye-Leikes year-end sales volume in Alabama totaled $273.56 million in 2015, up 8 percent from $253.14 million through 2014, representing 1,350 in year-end closings.

Crye-Leike's year-end sales volume in Arkansas totaled $1.18 billion in 2015, up 2.73 percent from $1.15 billion through 2014. These figures represent 7,774 in property sales, over 7,587 comparable year-end results in 2014.
