FAYETTEVILLE, AR., - Crye-Leike, REALTORS is proud to announce the merger of the company's Northwest Arkansas operations with Globalink Realtors. The merger is effective June 1, 2008 with Globalink's owner, Managing Broker and 20 sales associates relocating to Crye-Leike's new Fayetteville Arkansas branch office on June 16, 2008.

"Crye-Leike warmly welcomes the team at Globalink Realtors to the Crye-Leike family," said Kendall Birdsong, Administrative Manager of Northwest Arkansas operation for Crye-Leike. "Globalink is a top notch real estate firm that has had a history and reputation of great service throughout the region."

Globalink launched its operations in 2001 and has been one of the top 15 producing real estate firms in the market since opening.

"Having the fine people of Globalink join Crye-Leike is a tremendous opportunity for both companies in this tricky housing market," said Birdsong. "Their agents have been solid producers and the Globalink production per agent is higher than most companies. In 2006, the average agent production was two million dollars."

Globalink will formally transition its operations and agents June 16, 2008 to a new 18,000 square foot Crye-Leike retail office space in Fayetteville. At the new location Globalink's current Managing Broker John Cardin will share management duties with Crye-Leike's Fayetteville Managing Broker Dale McCauley. Together they will lead a combined sales force of approximately 50 new and existing Crye-Leike associates.

Ron Wilkins, owner of Globalink Realtors since forming the company in 2001 will join Crye-Leike's Commercial Real Estate Division in Fayetteville. He is a 3rd generation Realtor and was recognized in 1996 by the Metro Board as Realtor of the Year. Wilkins is currently on the Board of Directors for the Metro Board and since 1992 has been a supporter of Arkansas Special Olympics.

"There is a lot of years of combined experience merging into Crye-Leike from Globalink, I would say hundreds of years of experience," said John Cardin, Managing Broker of Globalink Realtors. "I believe everyone in our office is extremely excited and a little nervous. It's a transition from a small-localized operation to a much larger company, but I know everyone is looking forward to the move."

Crye-Leike's new Fayetteville branch office is located at 1280 East Stearns Street. The residential real estate division will occupy 10,000 square feet of the 18,000 square feet retail center. Crye-Leike Commercial and Realty Title & Escrow will also establish operations in the new development. The remaining retail space will be available for lease.

"The merger of Globalink and Crye-Leike is a move that brings two great companies together and that makes us all stronger," said Kendall Birdsong. "This merger and Crye-Leike's growth comes at a critical time in our market as everyone is working tirelessly to assist buyers and sellers."
