NASHVILLE, TN.,- Realty Title & Escrow of Middle Tennessee congratulates Closing Agent Diane Mann and her team's winning performance at the Tennessee Senior Olympics, Inc., Women's State Volleyball Championship. Mann and the "Hot Sets" Volleyball team finished with the Bronze Medal at the state finals held In July at the Cherry Sports Complex at Battleground Academy in Franklin, Tennessee.

 

"My teammates and I gave it our all and we're extremely pleased with our performance and taking the 3rd Place Bronze Medal," said Diane Mann with Realty Title & Escrow. "Of course everyone on the team was playing to win the Gold, but sometimes your competitors play a little bit better and that was the case at these games of the Senior Olympics."

 

Mann is a Closing Agent based out of the Realty Title & Escrow office in Green Hills located at 3815 Cleghorn Avenue. She has been playing alongside her teammates since 2006. Along with Mann, the Hot Sets team members include: Liz Briers, Janet Nielsen, Debbie Fitzhugh, Cindy Sinclair and Sherrie Young.

 

"Our six woman team finished in first place at several qualifying tournaments over the past year in order to qualify as a team in the Senior State Volleyball Championship," said Mann. "Of course we're a little disappointed we didn't place first or second to qualify to go on to the Nationals in San Francisco in August 2009, but we will have an opportunity to qualify in the Kentucky State Tournament in September of this year.

 

The National Seniors Games Association (NSGA) in partnership with the Tennessee Senior Olympics, Inc., are organizations founded and supported so adults can participate in their state in events year-round, KEEPING them motivated to achieve greater value and quality in their lives by staying healthy, active and fit.

 

The NSGA works with state and federal agencies, colleges and universities to better understand and support healthy aging initiatives for seniors and partner with national leaders committed to senior health, wellness and quality of life. The organization provides information to support education and research initiatives enabling senior athletes and others to be better informed about ways to ensure healthy aging.
