CHATTANOOGA, TN., - Crye-Leike, REALTORS Chattanooga Region is outselling its competitors with a sales volume of $196 million for the first six months of 2008 and beating their closest competitors by more than $50 million in total volume. The company has also achieved the highest number of closed transactions, selling 1,109 homes during the first half of 2008 and beating its closest competitor by nearly 400 units.

"All the credit for this big lead goes to our agents," said Rob Hatchett, Regional Vice President for Crye-Leike in Chattanooga. "They've done a great job building relationships with people throughout the Chattanooga region and it has obviously paid off."

Associates in the company's Chattanooga Region are leading the housing market with their number of closed transactions. Nearly 18% of all properties bought and sold in the Tennessee Valley and North Georgia areas for the first half of 2008 involved a Crye-Leike, REALTORS agent according the Chattanooga Association of Realtors MLS.

"Real Estate will always be a service industry and our goal is simply to provide the best service to prospective buyers and sellers," said Vicki Trapp, Managing Broker for the Downtown Chattanooga office. "Our lead shows that our agents are providing superior service."

2008 represents Crye-Leike, REALTORS 10 year anniversary in the Chattanooga region. Despite the downturn in the housing market, Crye-Leike is clearly on track to finish this milestone year with the most units sold and highest volume of any competitor.

"We are honored that so many of our loyal customers, their friends, neighbors and people new to the area chose to enlist the services of a Crye-Leike associate to help them buy or sell their home," said Hatchett. "We know service is the #1 quality people look for in a Realtor and we feel this is what's kept us in first place with families in the greater Chattanooga region for the first half of 2008, and we hope people will continue to think of us."
