LEBANON, TN., - Pack-up the kids and head over to the Crye-Leike, REALTORS sales office in Lebanon to enjoy some harvest time fun. The agents and employees are putting on an old fashioned Cake Walk & Yard Sale at the office located at 1432 West Main Street in Lebanon.

"It's going to be a great day for our local kids and the community," said Terry Rymar, Crye-Leike Agent and United Way Event Coordinator. We'll have face painting and lots of other activities planned especially for the kids along with a yard sale for grown-ups to browse and buy from. This is really going to be a" don't miss" good time for the whole family and best of all the proceeds are going to support United Way of Wilson County."

Terry has enlisted all the cooks and bakers in the office, their spouses and friends to get busy creating some amazing cakes and desserts for the Cake Walk event. She's also excited about the activities for the kids and the second-hand or slightly used items that will be available for sale - all to help your neighbors who are in need.

"Now, more than ever, the United Way supported agencies in our community need our help," said Terry. "We know money is tight for everyone right now, but it's especially tight for those individuals on the brink of falling through the cracks or who have already suffered a recent medical setback or job loss that's forcing them to reach out for help."

On Friday, October 17, 2008, the day before Saturday's event, Terry and her fellow agents and employees are putting on a lunch cookout - and the public is invited to that too. Hamburger and hotdog plates will be available for $5.00 and everyone is welcome to drop by, grab a bite to eat and support the local agencies that are supported by United Way of Wilson County.

"We'll start grilling around 10:30 to get the burgers on their way with lunch from 11:00am until 1:00pm," said Terry. "If you're out this way or can make a special effort to come see us for lunch, we'll be so glad to have you and your support of United Way."
