NASHVILLE, TN., - Realty Title & Escrow of Nashville congratulates closing Agent Diane Mann and her teammates who played to victory in the recent Senior Olympic Women's Volleyball Team Tournament. The tournament was held in Cookeville, Tennessee April 18, 2009.

 

"Most of us on the team have been playing together since 2006," said Mann. "So the teamwork it takes to win is something we've been working on for a while, and it's quite an accomplishment at our age to be playing the game - having a good time at it and winning too."

 

Diane and her teammates: Sherrie Young, Janet Nielson, Sonja Chavez, Debbie Fitzhugh, Lori Hilber and Liz Briers played and beat four other women's teams from Cookeville, Chattanooga and Baxter, Tennessee in the weekend state championship. At the tournament staged in Cookeville - the victory represents a milestone for the players and a challenge to generate enough funds and support to take them to the Senior Olympic National Championships later this year.

 

"We're very grateful to Crye-Leike, REALTORS for its donation of uniform shirts," said Mann. "As we continue our quest in 2009 toward the national championship - we will be looking for additional corporate and individual support and contributions to help us get to nationals."

 

With another victory under its belt - the "Hot Sets" team is posed to play in the National Senior Olympic Volleyball Championship to be held in San Francisco, August 7-13, 2009.
