Nashville, Tennessee - After 5 years of helping home buyers and sellers, Crye-Leike Smyrna Realtor Marc Michaelson has another great accomplishment to add to his successful real estate resume. He was recently nominated to serve on the Board of Directors for the Greater Nashville Association of Realtors (GNAR).
"I was honored to have been nominated to run for the Greater Nashville Association of Realtors (GNAR) Board of Directors," said Marc. "I am very grateful to have been elected to serve a 3 year term on the Board of Directors by the membership of almost 3,000 members. There were 8 people nominated to run for 4 positions, and I'm so excited to have been selected and eager to serve on the board of such a great organization."
Since starting his career as a Realtor, Marc has been a dedicated and active member of the GNAR. He received the GNAR Education Award in 2008, 2009 and 2010 and was honored with the GNAR Award of Excellence in 2011. Marc also currently serves on the GNAR Education Committee and as Board liaison to the Habitat for Humanity Committee.
"Times have been difficult in the real estate industry the last several years, but some great things are really staring to happen in the housing market again," said Marc. "I'm thrilled to start serving on the GNAR Board of Directors and want to use my previous business experiences to help guide the organization through the next three years."
Marc Michaelson is a licensed Realtor in Tennessee based out of Crye-Leike, REALTORS Smyrna branch office. He works as a team with his wife Debbie who is also a licensed Realtor. They assist buyers and sellers in and around Rutherford, Williamson, Davidson, and Wilson counties.

Before his career in residential real estate sales, Marc was a Director and Plant Manager at Nissan North America for 25 years. He holds a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering from Vanderbilt University. Marc is a member of the Smyrna Rotary Club where he served as the former Board of Directors and as a Chairman for the Town of Smyrna Sister City Exchange Committee.
