Crye-Leike Cordova Donates to Porter-Leath Toy Drive
Cordova, Tenn: Crye-Leike Cordova recently participated in the Porter-Leath Toy Drive, helping bring Holiday magic to over 6,200 local, low-income children under the age of five. Porter-Leath services encompass a variety of programs that include early childhood education, foster and adoptive care and a host of other social services vital to at-risk children and families.
Being a "Good Neighbor" is one of Crye-Leike's Core Values, emphasizing the importance of supporting the communities where it conducts business. This year, Crye-Leike Cordova's managing broker, Sheryl Wells, decided that participating in this toy drive would be the perfect way for the office to give back. It did not take long for the toy box to overflow with donations from agents in the Cordova office.
"It was such a joy to help Porter-Leath with this project," said Wells. "I am a strong believer that educating children at an early age is the key to breaking the cycle of poverty. It warmed my heart to see the agents take time out of their busy schedules to go out and buy these toys for the children. We look forward to this being an annual event for our office!"
The Cordova office would also like to extend a special thank you to Vicky Blackwell with the Olive Branch, MS office for her generous donations.

Crye-Leike Bella Vista Hosts Santa Drive-Thru Experience
Bella Vista, AR: Crye-Leike Bella Vista recently brought holiday cheer to many local families with its unique drive-thru Santa experience. With help from Santa's elves and Crye-Leike agents, families were able to meet Santa and receive candy from the comfort and safety of their vehicles.
Mr. Claus took some time off from his busy Christmas schedule to attend the event on December 6 and wave hello to the Bella Vista children. Thanks to the craftiness of the Crye-Leike agents, the children were very surprised when they received candy from a 9-foot special candy cane chute. Managing Broker Sherry Laemmle is proud of her agents for putting this event together for their community and could not be happier with the results.
"This has been a different Christmas for the children of Bella Vista," said Laemmle. "We wanted to provide something fun and safe as an alternative for seeing Santa this year. The children were so happy when the big candy cane delivered to their window, and the elves danced and cheered so much that we even had every car honking for us from the highway!"

Crye-Leike Realtor Dave Armstrong Raises $2K for Junior Golf Program of Bella Vista
Bella Vista, AR: Crye-Leike Real Estate Services recognizes Realtor Dave Armstrong for raising $2,000 for the Junior Golf Program of Bella Vista. In the beginning of November, Armstrong hosted the First Annual Futures Cup Golf Tournament to benefit the Junior Golf Program.
Armstrong has been affiliated with Crye-Leike's Bella Vista office for two years and is always looking for new ways to give back to his cherished community. Organizing this tournament was a way for Armstrong to bring together some of Bella Vistas most avid golfers while raising money for a great cause.
"It was important to all of us that this tournament was not just about us having fun on a glorious weekend," said Armstrong. "It was special that we were able to give back to help the future of golf in this area. That is why we called it the Futures Cup. I'm so proud of everyone that participated and for their generosity!"
With 28 golfers participating in the Futures Cup Tournament, Armstrong was able to coordinate two teams of 14 players, captained by local golf enthusiasts Larry Apathy and Charley Powell. Longtime Bella Vista resident Andy O'Neil served as Grand Marshall for the tournament and after three rounds of golf using various formats, Apathy's team came out victorious. Although half of the golfers did not come out on top, the purpose of the tournament goes well beyond the idea of winning and losing.
"The real winners here are the kids," said Armstrong. "What a delight to help them on their journey of reaching their goals and aspirations in life. I'm already looking forward to next year's event!"

Crye-Leike Celebrates 38 Years of Support for Youth Villages' 5K/10Miler
Memphis, TN: Crye-Leike Real Estate Services celebrates the 38th consecutive year of being the top corporate donor for the Youth Villages' 5K/10Miler, raising approximately $7K throughout its Memphis Region. This year, the race was held virtually to support the children and families of West Tennessee.
The Crye-Leike Memphis area branch offices have been involved in the race every year since it began in 1982. Chris Crye, the late son of CEO and Co-founder Harold Crye, was an avid supporter of Youth Villages. In his memory, the agents and employees of Crye-Leike carry on a tradition of caring for kids who deserve every opportunity to learn and succeed. A portion of the money raised by this race also supports the Chris Crye Mentoring Program at Youth Villages.
Paula Dismuke, a member of the Youth Villages Committee and Crye-Leike employee, organized the participation and donations of the Crye-Leike branch offices and is proud of the impact the company has had on this event.
"I am thankful to have been involved with this Youth Villages event for the past six years and on the committee for five," said Dismuke. "Even with the pandemic, having to change the race date, and it becoming a virtual race, Crye Leike, its agents and employees came through as always! Seeing such outpouring support for Youth Villages has made me feel blessed and it continues to touch my heart."
Youth Villages Development Coordinator Melissa Williams has also recognized Crye-Leike and its continued participation with the program.
"Youth Villages would like to give a huge thank you to Crye-Leike for being our top Corporate Team Champion for the YV 5K/10-miler for the 38th year," said Williams. "Because of their continued dedication and support, we are able to serve children and families all over West Tennessee and help them live successfully. We could not do what we do without the generosity of Crye-Leike."

Rogers Community Food Pantry Opened by Crye-Leike Managing Broker Chuck Gay
Rogers, AR:Rogers community member and Crye-Leike Managing Broker Chuck Gay recently discovered that many neighbors and local businesses have fallen on hard times due to the current economic climate. His first instinct was to figure out what he could do to help.
Using the Nextdoor Neighbor app, Gay reached out to over 1,600 community members to ask what was need most in their community. After receiving an overwhelming response from neighbors, Gay found that an easy-access food pantry was in high demand.
Only two weeks later, with the support from a local handyman, a local woodworker and monetary donations from the community, a food pantry was built. According to Gay, since the pantry opened last Saturday, there has been a constant flow of people dropping off food donations, as well as those that need food. It is a "take what you need, leave what you can" pantry.
"We saw several businesses had to close their doors and spoke with several neighbors that were having difficulty making ends meet," said Gay. "We have a ton of support from the community and plan to keep this pantry open year-round."
The new food pantry is set up in the driveway of the Crye-Leike Rogers - Beavers Lake branch office, located at 14566 Hwy 12 East, and those who visit are asked to use the provided wipes on all products and the hand sanitizer.
For more information regarding the food pantry, please contact the Crye-Leike Rogers - Beavers Lake branch office at (479) 925-1313, or email Chuck Gay at chuck.gay@crye-leike.com.

Crye-Leike Realtor Tony White Runs 100mi and Raises $7K for Second Harvest Food Bank
Nashville, TN: After asking around the Nashville community and discovering that Second Harvest Food Bank of Middle Tennessee was in need of help, Crye-Leike East Nashville Realtor Tony White decided that he wanted to raise awareness for the organization.
The tornados that ripped through Middle Tennessee in the beginning of March left many residents reaching out to Second Harvest for help. With the Coronavirus following next, those numbers have risen rapidly.
White, who had been training for a marathon that canceled due to COVID-19, decided to raise awareness for Second Harvest in a way that not many others could even think about doing - by running 100 miles in one day.
"Basically, I just thought that I'm going to go run 100 miles to raise awareness for a charity that is really hurting right now, but is still serving so many people in need," said White.
Starting at 5a.m. in Sylvan Park, White ran around the Downtown and East Nashville areas, using parts of the Greenway Trail and local parks to finish his run around 9p.m. It was a long day, but he didn't have to complete the 16 hour journey alone.
"I think I only ran about 15 of the 100 miles by myself because I had so many friends that wanted to help out," said White. "My wife ended up running 32 miles with me and the longest run that she has done in the past 4-5 months was only about 15. It was a very long day, but the weather was perfect; although I did get a pretty good sunburn!"
So how exactly was White able to raise money for Second Harvest? The organization set up a virtual food drive for White to share with his friends, family and neighbors.
Posting videos on his Instagram (@tonywhitetri) throughout his run, White ended up with over 2.5x his normal amount of viewers following along and encouraged them to donate. As the week has gone on, White's virtual food drive has now accumulated over $6,800 in donations!
In Middle Tennessee, 1 in 8 adults including 1 in 6 children struggle with hunger every day. For every $1 donated, Second Harvest can provide four meals to hungry children, families and seniors.
White has gone above and beyond to uphold Crye-Leike's Core Value of being a "good neighbor". To donate to White's virtual food drive, please visit http://shfbmt.convio.net/site/TR?px=1453069&fr_id=1311&pg=personal. White can be reached at tony.white@crye-leike.com.

The Sweet Tooth Auction is named in memory of the late Martin Cummings, who was the first managing broker of the Crye-Leike Mount Juliet office.

We all participate in various outreach programs such as the backpack school supply drive, senior and children Christmas gift donations, food drives and of course our annual auction."

A Day With United Way
By Crye-Leike's Public Relations Coordinator Katie Wainman
I recently spent a hot September day in Nashville, TN visiting different non-profit organizations that are partly funded by United Way. With Crye-Leike's United Way campaign coming up, it was truly a great experience to learn about some of the local non-profits that support Middle Tennessee. Here is what I learned:
Interfaith Dental
Upon arriving at Interfaith Dental, we were met by the lighthearted Chief Development Officer Beverly Grant.
Walking into the building, I did not really know what to expect. I did not fully understand the need for an organization like this. Is it just a regular dentist office? What's so special about this place?
As it turns out, Interfaith Dental is not your typical run-of-the-mill dentist office. In its simplest form, they offer extremely low priced or free dental services to impoverished patients. This isn't just a standard cleaning two times a year. If you haven't had the privilege of affording dental care your whole life, or were not taught the importance of dental care, chances are you suffer from serious oral health issues.
Interfaith Dental makes it their mission to treat patients long-term, to teach patients about the importance of dental care and to give patients the access to the resources they'll need for proper oral hygiene.
Interfaith Dental strives to make our communities healthier and relies heavily on volunteers, supply donations and funding from organizations such as United Way to make that happen.
Stars
After moving on from all of the teeth talk, it was time to visit the Stars organization to discuss their impact on the area.
The Youth Opportunity Center is the home to five non-profit organizations that focus on helping the youth, including Stars. The inside of the building is vibrant and everything from the furniture to the art work gives off an aura of fun and comfort.
We got to speak with Chief Development Officer Erin Duanic about what Stars offers to Middle Tennessee and how the organization is able to stay afloat.
Duanic explained to us that Stars offers various academic (K-12) and communal programs to address issues such as substance abuse, bullying and violence. Every program that Stars executes is evidenced-based. This means that, in order for Stars to gain funding for a program or to keep a program running, they need to prove that it is having a positive effect on the youth. This isn't always the easiest, as we learned some programs are harder to collect data for than others.
The Stars organization is heavily involved in the communities in Middle Tennessee and can only continue to have an impact if they receive help from donors.
Oasis
Staying on the topic of Nashville's youth, we then spoke with the Oasis Director of College Connection Lee Gray. Oasis is also located in the Youth Opportunity Center and works closely with Stars.
It was impressive to learn about all of the programs Oasis offers. Some of the programs include college and career preparations, youth and family counseling services, LGBTQ safety and acceptance, street outreach for homeless adolescents, and an emergency shelter for crisis situations. With a diverse range of programs, Oasis is able to help over 3,500 youths throughout Middle Tennessee annually.
The staff at Oasis does everything in their power to ensure that each child or young adult who enters the center leaves with a better life than they had before. They teach youth how to build healthy relationships, positive habits and a better future for themselves.
As with any other non-profit organization, Oasis could not make these strides without the help from numerous volunteers and outside funding.
Sexual Assault Center
The last stop on our trip, and I would argue the most impactful - the Sexual Assault Center (SAC). Going into the center, I knew that it wasn't going to be as energetic as the places we visited earlier in the day. The Sexual Assault Center is a place that you never want to have to utilize, but if you do, it can be your best resource for help.
We were met in the quiet lobby by Vice President of Marketing and Fundraising Dorothy (Dott) Freeman. There was something about the center that felt warm and comforting. Evidently, Freeman explained to us that every inch of the center was created for that purpose. Everything in the center, even down to the wall colors, helped you feel more relaxed.
The SAC has four realms of focus: therapy, advocate services, prevention and the safe clinic. It was amazing to hear about how many people the center has helped, and how its outreach to the community has impacted Middle Tennessee. Last year, 2,510 calls were answered by the SAC's 24-hour Crisis & Support Line, 661 sexual assault survivors participated in 10,554 therapy sessions and 41 rape survivors were supported by the SAC's Advocate Services team.
Keeping the center running is not cheap. To put it into perspective, $1,000 supports therapy for one individual for six weeks, but a sexual assault victim needs 18 - 24 months of therapy on average. Funding from organizations such as United Way are extremely important to keeping the SAC up and running.
How Can You Make a Difference?
Arriving back to my office, I was able to reflect on everything that I had learned that day. Every single leader I met was welcoming, generous and clearly passionate about what they do. One even mentioned that, "It's not an industry you join to get rich. You join because you want to help the cause."
From October 21st - November 1st, we ask that you help the cause by supporting Crye-Leike's campaign for United Way. It is our hope that the non-profit organizations in your communities can continue to thrive and better the lives of those in need.
For more information on how you can donate, please contact Crye-Leike's Public Relations Coordinator, Katie Wainman, at katie.wainman@crye-leike.com.

Crye-Leike Property Management Teams Up With Second Harvest of Middle TN for September Food Drive
'There is no home for hunger'
Nashville, TN: Crye-Leike Property Management announces that its Middle Tennessee offices will be participating in Second Harvest's Hunger Action Month. From September 1st to September 27th, locals can drop off non-perishable food items at any of the 21 Crye-Leike Real Estate or Property Management offices within the Middle Tennessee region.
Second Harvest hosts this annual campaign to ensure that local communities take action on the issue of hunger. Hunger knows no boundary, it has no social class and it lives in your community. Statistics say that nationally, 15.7 percent of all households experience food hardship. That number rises considerably for households with children to 17.5 percent nationally. In the South alone, the number is climbing to an alarming 17.5 to 19.3 percent depending on the state.
This year, Crye-Leike Property Management in Middle Tennessee wants to uphold Crye-Leike's Core Value of being a "Good Neighbor" by encouraging its agents, employees and residents of the Nashville communities to donate to this great cause. Second Harvest works hard to ensure that the food raised within the local communities will be used to feed the people facing hunger in those communities.
Crye-Leike Property Management Executive Vice President Linda Ayers is proud of her office's participation in this event and looks forward to making a positive impact in this region.
"The Property Management Division of Crye-Leike takes our company's Core Values very seriously," said Ayers. "We strive to make a positive difference in our communities as much as we can. The hunger crisis in this country is real and getting worse each year. I have been amazed at the wonderful work Feeding America has been doing across the country, and I instantly knew this was something we would want to get involved in. Crye-Leike Property Management is very excited to partner with Second Harvest to raise awareness and take a stand against hunger in Middle Tennessee."
Although all non-perishable food items are welcomed, the following items are most needed by donation:
Peanut butter
Canned meats (Chicken/Tuna)
Canned fruits and vegetables
Soups and stews
Pastas
Cereals

Crye-Leike Breaks Record in Backpack Heroes Program to Benefit Children of Youth Villages
Nashville, TN: Crye-Leike Real Estate Services has teamed up with Youth Villages of Middle Tennessee to support the Backpack Heroes Program for the 19th consecutive year. This year, Crye-Leike broke its record, donating 494 backpacks full of school supplies to Youth Villages.
Youth Villages is a private, non-profit organization dedicated to helping emotionally and behaviorally troubled children and their families live successfully through home-based counseling, therapeutic foster care, adoption services, residential treatment, community-based programs and crisis and prevention services.
Chris Crye, the late son of Crye-Leike CEO and Co-founder Harold Crye, was an avid supporter of Youth Villages. In his memory, the agents and employees of Crye-Leike carry on a tradition of caring for kids who deserve every opportunity to learn and succeed.
"We're proud to have supported Youth Villages in their Backpack Heroes drive for so many years now," said Mr. Crye. "The support from our agents never ceases to amaze me. This year we broke another record and collected 494 backpacks. We don't ask our offices to beat the previous year's record. It just comes naturally from their hearts. I'm very proud of what it's become."
Crye-Leike Principal Broker and Administrative Manager for Middle Tennessee Jason Murphy has organized the Crye-Leike offices' participation in the Backpack Heroes Program year-after-year. Once all of the backpacks are collected, Youth Villages comes to the Crye-Leike Brentwood office with students to pick up the supplies.
"To see the excitement on the students' faces when they see the backpacks and pick out their very own is a special moment to witness," said Mr. Murphy. "The generosity comes from Crye-Leike associates and staff from all across Middle TN - from Dickson to Lebanon, Columbia to Clarksville and everywhere in between."

Crye-Leike Buford - Flowery Participates in Operation Backpack with Volunteers of America
Buford, GA: Crye-Leike Real Estate Services has teamed up with Volunteers of America Southeast to begin collecting backpacks filled with school supplies to donate to school children in the surrounding areas.
Over the past eight years, Volunteers of America Southeast has helped over 5,000 students through Operation Backpack. This year, Crye-Leike's new Buford - Flowery branch office is looking to contribute to that. Many children in local areas live in poverty, and it is important to Crye-Leike that those children are getting the supplies they need and deserve before each school year begins. For Crye-Leike Office Administrator Nancy Hicks, Operation Backpack hits close to home.
"This drive is so near and dear to my heart because I'm a former special education teacher of Gwinnett County Public Schools," said Hicks. "I've seen first-hand how children feel when they come to school without supplies. Some children even come to school without backpacks, and other children come to school with backpacks that are torn or soiled. Every child deserves their own supplies and fresh backpacks!"
Community members in Buford and surrounding areas may drop off filled backpacks at 4949 Lanier Islands Parkway, Suite 101, Monday through Friday from 8:30a.m. 5:30p.m. from now until July 26th.

Crye-Leike Bryant Helps Feed Children of Saline County
Bryant, AR: Crye-Leike Real Estate Services in Bryant, AR recently collected food and hygiene products to donate to the Saline County Library to benefit children throughout the summer months.
The Crye-Leike Bryant branch office had been collecting food and hygiene products for over a month to donate to the Saline County Library. Volunteering is not Seasonal
Crye-Leike Real Estate Services has a core belief of being a "good neighbor", meaning the company and its agents make giving back to communities a priority. Around the holidays and back-to-school season, the volunteer rate increases and people all over the country do what they can to make a positive impact on their communities. However, community service is not seasonal. Many cities and towns need help from volunteers year-round, but unfortunately the volunteer rate is not as high when holiday cheer is not around.
Here are steps you can take to become an active volunteer this spring:
1. Think about your interests
Schools, homeless shelters, animal shelters, hospitals, the elderly and the environment are usually the first topics people think about when the idea of volunteering comes to mind. It can all be a bit overwhelming, but you are not a super hero, and you do not have to try to help everyone. Pick one topic to indulge in and run with it. Over time, you might find that you have the energy and resources to do more.
2. How much time do you want to dedicate to your community?
If you have the time to organize your own team of people and lead your own event, then that is great! However, most people do not have that kind of time, and that's okay too. You do not always have to spend months planning what your next volunteer opportunity is going to be. Chances are you can spend one afternoon helping an already established organization. After a while, see if you can turn that "one afternoon" into a "once a month afternoon".
3. Research events and activities
If you do not want to host your own event, simply look into what other organizations are doing. Many towns have websites with community calendars, or you can look in the local paper to see if there are any event advertisements. Figure out what kind of community service you feel comfortable doing that fits your interest, and contact a member of the organization to see what you can do to help.
If you want to host your own event, try to make it unique and different, in hopes you will get more volunteers or donations. You do not want to end up hosting an event that someone is already having. Volunteering is not a competition. If you find that there is an area of interest that is lacking help, pursue that.
4. Go out and help your community!
Hopefully by this point you have figured out what topic of interest you want to focus on, what kind of time you can dedicate to helping your community and which event or activity you want to be a part of. Now, go do that!! Go help at your local soup kitchen, donate clothing and toys, or clean up rivers, highways and parks. Do what you need to do to make your town a better place, because being a good neighbor is what makes a great community.

Crye-Leike Murfreesboro to Host 4th Annual Free Public Shredding Event
Murfreesboro, TN: Crye-Leike Real Estate Services, accompanied by sponsors Realty Title and iBeria Bank Mortgage, will be hosting the 4th annual free shredding event on Saturday, April 13th from 10-1p.m. The three hour event is open to the public and will take place at Crye-Leike's Murfreesboro branch office, located at 1139 N.W. Broad St., Suite 100.
"We are thrilled to sponsor a free shredding event to the community for the fourth time," said Realtor Karen Pfluge of Crye-Leike. "Working in real estate, we are sensitive to the amount of paperwork that can pile up throughout the years, specifically for homeowners. With tax season coming to an end, this is the perfect time for people to gather up unwanted documents and take advantage of this free service."
This free offer is limited to 20 banker boxes per person and stapled documents do not need to be separated. The first 200 people to arrive at the event will be offered free morning and afternoon treats. Attending the event will allow the public to simply show up, drop off their unwanted papers in a box, and a professional shredding company will handle the rest. It is a great way to de-clutter filing cabinets and safely expose of expired documents at no cost.
"Many people hang on to old documents that they don't need anymore," said Shawna Hulse of Realty Title. "Over time those documents can pile up and slowly collect dust and clutter, but, we want to eliminate that burden and offer a service to the community that is quick, secure and FREE."
For more information regarding the free shredding event, contact the Crye-Leike Real Estate Murfreesboro branch office at (615) 895-9518, or email Realtor Karen Pfluge at karen.pfluge@crye-leike.com.

Siloam Springs, AR: Crye-Leike Real Estate Services is proud to recognize The Silvey-Welch Team of Crye-Leikes Siloam Springs for their recent sponsorship of a breast cancer awareness high school softball game in their community.
On April 3rd, the real estate duo sponsored their local high school girls softball team, the Gentry Pioneers, as they battled the Greenland Pirates at Gentry High School softball field. The game was no ordinary softball match; the entirety of the night was dedicated to breast cancer survivors, current fighters, and those who have lost their lives or a loved one to breast cancer. With the theme No One Fights Alone the night was dedicated to bringing awareness to a disease that is not only life-altering but deadly.
Breast cancer survivors were invited to attend and as each player was announced, they were asked to walk with them onto the field. Players, coaches, and survivors joined hands for a moment of silence for those who had lost their battle with breast cancer before the games began. Each player wore a jersey purchased by the Silvey-Welch Team that displayed various shades of pink to reflect that of the Susan G. Komen breast cancer organization.

Crye-Leike Smyrna Collects Over 1,900 Food Items for Local Food Bank
Smyrna, TN: Each year in celebration of the holiday season, the town of Smyrna organizes a festive Christmas parade for their community. Local businesses are encouraged to participate under the condition that they pay an entry fee of the edible variety. The fee was not of money value but instead they requested canned food donations that could be given to help those in need at Nourish Food Bank.
Crye-Leike Smyrna office stepped up to the challenge this month and organized their Annual Holiday Food Drive. This is the second year the Crye-Leike team has joined together to participate in the parade and all were eager to collect as many food items as possible to help those who need it most.
As a fun way to encourage each participating business to collect as many canned goods as possible, Jill Strange, Parade Coordinator, created a traveling trophy. The trophy was to be awarded to the business that collected the most goods. Crye-Leike received this trophy last year and the competitive spirit of the team led them to win the trophy for another year. Out of 100 other businesses, Crye-Leike Smyrna collected the most food items, for a grand total of 1,978. Donations were made by team members, their families, and current and past clients.
"The competition part of the drive is all in good fun," said Amber McEachron, Crye-Leike Realtor. "Ultimately, what drove us to participate and collect as much as we could was helping the people in our community and making sure they are taken care of."
The parade ended up collecting an impressive 7,000 food items which so many people will benefit from this holiday season. "We love our community and we love giving back," said Nathan Fay, Crye-Leike Realtor. "Our team looks forward to participating in next years parade and we are hopeful that we can collect even more for our local food bank."

Jackson Area Christmas Light Tour Goes Viral on Facebook
Jackson, Tenn: What started off as an idea, turned into a plan, and 50,000 views on Facebook with over 600 shares later, local Realtor, Colleen Owens, launched a successful Christmas light tour for the city of Jackson. As a way to bring more holiday spirit to the city, Owens decided to create a Christmas lights list and Google map that shows beautifully decorated homes in Madison, Chester, Henderson, and Crockett counties.
"The idea came to me while I was decorating my own home," said Owens, Realtor for Crye*Leike Blue Skies. "I felt as if there werent as many residents who were putting up Christmas lights as the years before, and then I realized that those homes that are still decorating their outside are not necessarily all in one neighborhood."
After the Thanksgiving holiday, Owens took several nightly trips around the city to discover the homes that were the most festive and added them to a list and map. The public can access the information from her Facebook page which is frequently updated. Homes included on the list can be removed if they wish to do so. "A lot of the houses on the list are decorated extremely well, it takes a lot of time and energy to decorate the outside of your home and many of the homeowners have been excited to find their homes on the list," said Owens.
This is an affordable and fun way for families to explore the city and check out some beautifully decorated Christmas lights through the comfort of their vehicles. "Since this is the first year I have put this list together, I want to encourage more participants next year with a Christmas Lights Contest in 2018," said Owens.
