Crye-Leike Gets Groovy At Annual Destin Conference
On Oct. 10-12, Crye-Leike Real Estate Services held its annual conference in Destin, Fla. Hosted by Hilton Sandestin Beach Golf Resort & Spa, the 70's-themed conference welcomed over 650 agents, managers, employees and vendors for three days of learning and fun.
Founder and CEO Harold Crye opened with a warm welcome and update on the latest company news. He then introduced keynote speakers Craig Cheatham and Leigh Brown, who each delivered engaging large group presentations during the conference.
Cheatham, President and CEO of the Realty Alliance, shared insights on current trends shaping the future of the real estate industry. Brown a Realtor, CEO, best-selling author, coach, and speaker spoke on overcoming challenges and embracing success in her session titled "Thriving No Matter What."
Over the course of two days, agents chose from 33 breakout sessions on important topics like real estate investing, artificial intelligence, and social media marketing. Agents were also able to learn about useful tools such as Instagram Reels, Chat GPT, Crye-Leike TurnKey, and the company's new CRM.
Outside of presentations and breakout sessions, agents participated in fun activities like the golf tournament, pickleball tournament, and 70's sing-along. On the last day, everyone attended a large vendor expo featuring various vendors and Crye-Leike's ancillary services. Agents also had the opportunity to shop for merchandise at the company store, hosted by the Crye-Leike Marketing Department. Whether working, learning or enjoying free time, attendees had ample opportunities for networking and forming relationships.

Cody Crye Speaks At Global Real Estate Conference
On Sept. 11-13, Cody Crye was a speaker at the Blueprint annual conference in Las Vegas, Nev. Blueprint 2023 attracted over 2,000 attendees from 50+ countries and 750+ startups and investors to the Venetian Resort in Las Vegas. Crye was one of over 250 featured speakers.
Blueprint describes itself as "the largest, most global gathering of industry leaders and innovators leading the charge in changing the built world from construction to transaction for three days of networking, learning and ecosystem advancement." The conference connects entrepreneurs, venture investors and industry executives operating in and around real estate technology.
During his session, Crye spoke with Rick Rudman, President/CEO of the home improvement technology company Curbio, on their recent partnership with Crye-Leike. Through this partnership, Crye-Leike has introduced a pre-listing prep solution labeled Crye-Leike TurnKey. TurnKey utilizes Curbio to handle a wide variety of pre-sale projects, from cleaning to renovations, with all costs deferred until closing. TurnKey aims to create a completely transparent, hassle-free experience that gets homes market ready quickly and increases their value significantly.

Crye-Leike Partners With Youth Villages Through Annual Backpack Heroes Program
NASHVILLE, TENN. - For the 23rd consecutive year, Crye-Leike Real Estate Services has partnered with Youth Villages of Middle Tennessee to support the Backpack Heroes program. Crye-Leike associates donated 392 backpacks filled with school supplies to Youth Villages, making this year's drive another success.
Youth Villages is a private, non-profit organization dedicated to helping emotionally and behaviorally troubled children and their families live successfully through home-based counseling, therapeutic foster care, adoption services, residential treatment, community-based programs and crisis prevention services.
Each year, Crye-Leike's agents and employees participate in the backpack drive in memory of Chris Crye, the late son of Crye-Leike Chief Executive Officer and Co-Founder Harold Crye. Like the Crye family, the company highly values supporting children and families and looks forward to the drive every year.

Crye-Leike Bartlett Office Hosts Breakfast for Local First Responders
BARTLETT, TENN. - Crye-Leike Bartlett, the largest real estate firm serving the city of Bartlett, Tenn., recently organized a heartfelt breakfast event on Tuesday, May 16th, to extend its gratitude to the city's first responders. The event, hosted by Managing Broker Laura Gaither, brought together REALTORS and sponsors to honor these dedicated individuals.
Recognizing the selfless service rendered by the men and women who safeguard the community, Crye-Leike Bartlett aimed to express its appreciation through the breakfast event as a small token of gratitude.

Langston, along with Brian "BJ" Bennett, originally came up with the idea for the breakfast in 2016. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, they had to take some time off, but are now resuming the annual tradition in 2023.
"It is a blessing to live in a community where we can count on our first responders in every aspect," said REALTOR Associate Sonja Tulacz. "They are there in times of crisis, but they also take time out to visit our schools and businesses to educate us and truly be active members in our community."

"We know that each of the first responders that attended this event had a full plate that day, not just at breakfast but with the many tasks that they are responsible for, and they still took time out of their day to allow us to honor them and spend time with us. Crye-Leike Names Blair Teasdale Director of Luxury and Green Hills Co-Managing Broker

Crye-Leike St. Bethlehem Office Partners With Local Soup Kitchen For Fourth Year
CLARKSVILLE, TN - Crye-Leike Real Estate Services is proud to announce the partnership of its Clarksville - St. Bethlehem office with local soup kitchen, Loaves & Fishes, to support their "Giving From The Heart" Food Drive. From Jan. 16 to Feb. 16, the office will be accepting donations of canned, bottled or boxed food goods and supplies.
The collection of food items will be donated directly to Loaves & Fishes, who serve an average of 150-200 meals a day, six days a week, in the Clarksville community. Additionally, the organization serves as a food distribution center for local churches and agencies that help the community.
"Every year our office chooses a local charity to support," said Crye-Leike office administrator Glenda Gardner. "This will be our fourth year doing this, and we are honored to help support such a wonderful organization that will contribute to feeding so many families in need."
St. Bethlehem employees and agents volunteer throughout the year working at Loaves & Fishes, and during the upcoming weeks, they will be collecting food donations. The office will also accept donations of paper goods and cleaning supplies such as paper towels, napkins, cups, laundry detergent, dish soup and liquid hand soap.
"Through the generosity of the public and the dedication of our agents and staff, we hope to make a difference in the lives of many," said Gardner.

Crye-Leike Names Mark Leggett Vice President of Central Arkansas Market
LITTLE ROCK, ARK. - Crye-Leike Real Estate Services has named Mark Leggett vice president of its Central Arkansas market. Leggett brings 15 years of real estate experience and 30 years of management and leadership experience to the position.
In 1993, Mark began his professional career at Alltel Information Services, where he worked in information technology. He then went on to work in several other departments at Alltel, including recruitment and human resources. In 2003, Mark and his wife Lisa purchased an existing Closet Factory franchise, which they grew by 400% in just over three years.
The Leggetts decided to join the real estate industry shortly after selling their business in 2008. After working for a couple of other firms, they started a new boutique real estate firm in Little Rock. Utilizing his previous recruitment, management and leadership experience, Mark became instrumental to the growth of the company. He now looks forward to applying his past experience to this new role.

Crye-Leike Celebrates 40 Years of Support for Youth Villages 5K
MEMPHIS, TENN. - Crye-Leike Real Estate Services celebrates its 40th consecutive year as the top corporate donor for the Youth Villages annual 5K. Crye-Leike had a record-breaking year, raising a total of $10,500 throughout its Memphis region.
The event was held on Saturday, Oct. 22. Several Crye-Leike affiliates participated, including CEO and Founder Harold Crye.
Youth Villages is a private, non-profit organization dedicated to helping emotionally and behaviorally troubled children and their families live successfully through home-based counseling, therapeutic foster care, adoption services, residential treatment, community-based programs and crisis and prevention services.
The Crye-Leike Memphis area branch offices have been involved in the race every year since it began in 1982. Chris Crye, the late son of Harold Crye, was an avid supporter of Youth Villages. In his memory, the agents and employees of Crye-Leike carry on a tradition of caring for kids who deserve every opportunity to learn and succeed. A portion of the money raised by this race supports the Chris Crye Mentoring Program at Youth Villages.
Paula Dismuke, a Crye-Leike employee and member of the Youth Villages Committee, organized the company's participation and donations. She has served on the committee for the past seven years and is thankful to have been involved in the event for eight years.

Crye-Leike Gets Wild At 2022 Annual Sandestin Conference
On Oct. 10-13, Crye-Leike Real Estate Services held its annual conference in Destin, Fla. Hosted by Hilton Sandestin Beach Golf Resort & Spa, the safari-themed conference welcomed over 680 agents, managers, employees and vendors for four days of learning and fun.
Founder and CEO Harold Crye opened with a warm welcome and update on the latest company news. He then introduced world-class keynote speakers Peter Parnegg and Jared James, who each delivered large group presentations throughout the week.
Parnegg, former Coldwell Banker franchise real estate Co-CEO, explained the Ninja Selling experience and outlined ways to create a rewarding real estate career. James, an author, speaker and real estate coach, explored ways to generate business and acquire listings, such as leveraging buyers and using social media.
Over the course of two days, agents chose from 34 breakout sessions on important topics like real estate investing, video for business and community involvement. Agents were also able to learn more about useful tools such as Canva, Moxi, Buyside, MoxiWorks and Transactly.
Outside of presentations and breakout sessions, agents participated in fun activities like the beach volleyball tournament, golf tournament, sunset jam session and talent show. On the last day, everyone attended a large vendor expo featuring various vendors and Crye-Leike's ancillary services. Agents also had the opportunity to shop for merchandise at the company store, hosted by the Crye-Leike Marketing Department. Whether working, learning or enjoying free time, attendees had ample opportunities for networking and forming relationships. Overall, the conference was successful and widely enjoyed.

MOUNT JULIET, TENN. - Crye-Leike Real Estate Services celebrated the 30th anniversary of its Mount Juliet, Tenn. office on Tuesday, Sept. 20. Founder and CEO Harold Crye first opened the office in 1992, just a few doors down from its current building.
Tuesday's event celebrated both the momentous anniversary and the five agents who have worked with the Mount Juliet office since it opened: Margaret Dixon, Dee Lawrence, Barbara Parrish, Jimmy Deatrick and Tommy Williams. All were in attendance along with President Harold Crye, who shared the office's origin story. Crye-Leike Partners With Youth Villages Through Annual Backpack Heroes Program
NASHVILLE, TENN - For the 22nd consecutive year, Crye-Leike Real Estate Services has partnered with Youth Villages of Middle Tennessee to support the Backpack Heroes program. Crye-Leike associates donated over 300 backpacks filled with school supplies to Youth Villages, making this year's drive another success.
Youth Villages is a private, non-profit organization dedicated to helping emotionally and behaviorally troubled children and their families live successfully through home-based counseling, therapeutic foster care, adoption services, residential treatment, community-based programs and crisis prevention services.
Each year, Crye-Leike's agents and employees participate in the backpack drive in memory of Chris Crye, the late son of Crye-Leike Chief Executive Officer and Co-Founder Harold Crye. Like the Crye family, the company highly values supporting children and families and looks forward to the drive every year.

MEMPHIS, TENN. - The Crye-Leike Commercial Memphis Division has had the unique privilege of working alongside employees, volunteers and participants of the Work Life program facilitated by Advance Memphis.
According to Advance Memphis, The Work Life program is a soft skills job-training program to assist unemployed or underemployed people. The class focuses on finding dignity through work and overcoming personal roadblocks to attaining employment.

SPRING HILL, TENN. - Give the gift of life at Crye-Leike Real Estate Services' blood drive in Spring Hill on February 18, 2022 from 10 a.m. - 3 p.m. Hosted by Blood Assurance, the drive will take place at the Crye-Leike Spring Hill branch office, located at 5407 Main St, Spring Hill, TN 37174.
On February 18, Blood Assurance will have a bloodmobile parked outside of the Crye-Leike Spring Hill office with fully trained technicians to assist donors. According to Blood Assurance, there is an alarming need for lifesaving blood throughout Middle Tennessee after the devastating storms and COVID-19. MEMPHIS, TENN. - Crye-Leike Real Estate Services announces that it has experienced its best year in company history, generating $8.9 billion in sales volume and closing 32,499 transactions in 2021. This resulted in a 19 percent sales increase from 2020.
As the company continued to navigate through the pandemic, low mortgage rates, new household formation and heavy buyer interest in moving to homes that better fit their needs kept the real estate market very competitive. With proper protocols in place, Crye-Leike agents remained diligent, responsive and leveraged their marketing and technology tools to continue serving their clients. Despite low inventory, Crye-Leike averaged 90 sales per day for 365 days of the year.

Crye-Leike Agents Raise Over $7K to Benefit Blackwell Animal Rescue Center
MEMPHIS, TENN - Realtors and employees of Crye-Leike Real Estate Services' West Tennessee and North Mississippi branch offices recently raised over $7,000 to benefit the Blackwell Animal Rescue Center (BARC). The two-day auction and split-pot drawing was held at the Crye-Leike Memphis - Quail Hollow office, where attendees were able to bid on items such as box seats for a Memphis Grizzlies game, tickets for a Tennessee Titans game, designer bags, real estate courses held by Success Real Estate School and much more.
Vicki Blackwell, managing broker of the Crye-Leike Olive Branch, MS office, founded the Blackwell Animal Rescue Center in 2014, a 501(c)(3) charitable organization to rescue, rehabilitate and re-home abused and abandoned animals. Blackwell's fellow Crye-Leike associates understand how much work she has put into making BARC a safe place for local animals and wanted to hold this special event to support her organization.
"In 2008, when the real estate market tanked, there was a surge in animals that were left behind in abandoned properties," said Blackwell. "My mom, Betty Sumler, a broker at Crye-Leike Olive Branch, and I started rescuing these animals and networking to find homes. We are strictly run by volunteers who network and transport these animals to various rescues in the northern states. Northern states have mandatory spay neuter laws so they do not have an abundance of animals like we have in our area. We specialize in heartworm treatments, spay/neuter and various surgeries needed to remove tumors, broken limbs, etc. We have rescued, rehabilitated and re-homed over 1,500 animals."
On December 2 and 3, Crye-Leike agents, employees and local community members filed into the Quail Hollow office to bid on a variety of items and support BARC. Lynda Drake, a Crye-Leike employee, graciously coordinated the entire event.
"I adopted two dogs about nine years ago and saw what rescues like BARC do for these deserving animals, so I decided to put my bargain shopping skills to a good cause," said Drake. "We hope that we can make this an annual event and make it even more successful in the coming years!"
The event was a huge success and a great example of Crye-Leike's Core Value of being a "good neighbor". Crye-Leike extends a huge thank you to all of the amazing people who donated auction items and attended the event.

Crye-Leike Mount Juliet Raises Over $8,000 for Local Charities at Annual Sweet Tooth Auction
MOUNT JULIET, TENN - Crye-Leike Real Estate Services announces that its Mount Juliet branch office has raised $8,530 during its Annual Martin Cummings Sweet Tooth Auction. Crye-Leike agents invited their clients, friends, families and vendors to bid on homemade pies, cookies, cakes and other sweet treats up for auction.

Since 2004, Crye-Leike's Mount Juliet office has raised over $65,000 through its auction to benefit agencies affiliated with United Way of Greater Nashville. This year's proceeds benefited the Mount Juliet Senior Center, the Mount Juliet Help Center and the Empower Me Day Camp.
The Sweet Tooth Auction honors the late Martin Cummings, who was the first managing broker of the Crye-Leike Mount Juliet office. Cummings was an avid supporter of his community and the auction lives on in his memory.
"We are thrilled that our event was so successful this year," said Crye-Leike Realtor and Director of Career Development Barbara Bell. "We had to cancel last year's event due to COVID-19, and we decided to move the event off-site this year. We really weren't sure what the turnout would be, but we ended up raising $1,000 more than we did at our 2019 auction! We truly could not have done this without all of the amazing support we received from the community."
