Company co-founder and CEO Harold Crye took part in the ribbon cutting ceremony alongside branch Sales Manager and Broker Sue Stinson-Turner and Steve Brown, Memphis Region Vice President and General Manager.
"It was great," proclaimed Stinson-Turner. "The grand opening took place on Thursday, December 13th with many of our own associates and associates from other real estate firms joining us in celebrationl."
In October, company leaders announced that its Exeter office location, one of two branches in Germantown, had relocated to the much larger commercial office space on Forrest-Hill - Irene Road.
"We are thrilled to be in the new location with more room and comforts and the same world class service people have come to expect from Crye-Leike," said Stinson-Turner. "We're so glad to be in the neighborhood, and look forward to serving our past clients and new clients from our new home in Germantown."

Charleston Rowe A New Green Home Subdivision Taking Shape In Hernando, Mississippi
HERNANDO, MS., - More and more homebuyers today are turning their sights on efficient, economical and environmentally-friendly home designs and living. In response, Crye-Leike, REALTORS - in association with Charleston Builders - is responding with a Green focused development and the launch of Phase One of a new neighborhood in Hernando, Mississippi.
Charleston Builders Developer Jim Seay and Crye-Leike, REALTORS Affiliate Brokers Ron & Nancy Guy "The Guy Team" have joined with builder Ray Denison to create and market a new environmentally friendly subdivision in Hernando named "Charleston Rowe." There, Developer Jim Seay says you'll find many Green amenities came together well before the first foundation was poured.
"For the subdivision itself we've addressed water retention considerations, lighting and planning for several parks for homeowner's enjoyment," said Developer Jim Seay of Charleston Builders. "Before we started construction of the model home we studied the topography to determine things like the concrete and cobblestone street layout and design of storm water and water retention."
Phase One of Charleston Rowe is a 14 lot subdivision, featuring a model home currently being staged for a yet to be announced Realtor Open House event and public Grand Opening Celebration. The model - designed by Authentic Historical Designs, LLC in Jackson, Mississippi - is a replica of a home in Charleston made with many recycled and eco-friendly materials.
"Builder Ray Denison is using 150 year old pine floors, old brick and maintenance free Hardi plank boards on the exterior," said Ron Guy of Crye-Leike, REALTORS. "There will be ceiling fans in almost every room, programmable thermostats, higher levels of insulation, improved Pella windows and doors and "lifetime warranted" roofing by Certainteed with copper valleys."
With an A-Bus system for lighting control, high efficiency air conditioners Jim Seay and Ron Guy believe they're creating a living space - indoor and out - that's more sustainable by using no more of the natural resources than absolutely necessary.
"Something else that hasn't been overlooked is the footprint of the house - as it relates to its exposure to the sun," said Ron Guy of Crye-Leike. "The model has been designed to face south to enjoy light and the north side of the home has only a few windows and is protected by a partially enclosed patio. Simple considerations we believe will go a long way to make this home very environmentally friendly."
Native landscaping to reduce water use and maintenance, Energy Star appliances, and bonuses like spacious living area and a media room help this home meet the new evolving standards homebuyers today are demanding.
"With our Green features we believe we've created both a home for the environmentally conscious buyer and the future of our children," said Jim. "It's the right thing to do and it feels great to be helping make a difference."
For an appointment and to learn more about Charleston Rowe and for all your real estate needs and personal referrals contact Crye-Leike Realtors Ron & Nancy Guy by phone at 901-233-9111 or you can email The Guy Team at rguy@bellsouth.net.

CRYE-LEIKE AUCTIONS PREPARING FOR THE HIGHEST BIDDER
BRENTWOOD, TN.- Crye-Leike, Auctions Broker Terry Posey is preparing for one of his biggest auctions to date? and possibly the oldest property he's had the opportunity to sell to the highest bidder.
"It is a unique property," said Posey, referring to the 34-thousand square foot Old Mayfield Elementary School that goes on the auction block the first of next month. "We mostly sell houses, farms and land so an entire school is unusual, but there isn't much difference in the general way we market the property and conduct our auction."
Last month the Cleveland City Schools Board of Education signed an agreement with Crye-Leike Auctions to sell the 79-year-old school. Auctioneer Terry Posey along with Tony Young have agreed to sell it at no charge.
"It's a desirable approach for the school system to take the property to auction as opposed to the usual route of listing it and waiting for offers," said Posey. "This way the school board gets to set the date and time of the sale, the terms, down payment and closing date. It allows for greater accountability to the citizens and taxpayers and ensures the likelihood of a sale at a fair market price."
In 2005 the appraised value of the school was reportedly at $850,000. It is the goal of Crye-Leike Auctions to sell the property for that amount or more. Posey has auctioned properties for much more money, but he recognizes the school's status as a public building and its sentimental value makes this auction special.
"We've had interest from a number of prospective buyers," said Posey. "In addition to 20% down, the winning buyer will need to provide a non-refundable earnest money deposit and be able to close in 30 days of the auction."

The office will be under the leadership of Managing Broker Sue Stinson Turner, CRS, CRB, PMN, e-PRO, SRES.
"We will be known as the Germantown - Forest Hill branch office from now on," said Sue Stinson Turner, Managing Broker with Crye-Leike, Realtors. "It's exciting to be in a new location that will offer us and our clients more comforts, convenience and truly world class service."
Stinson Turner joined the company in November 1998 when Harold Crye & Dick Leike purchased the former Pyramid, Inc. Realtors and the leased office space on Exeter and six other locations throughout the Memphis area.
"Overtime is became apparent that our space on Exeter was not only too small, but it was in very close proximity to other Crye-Leike, Realtors branch locations in and around Germantown," said Stinson Turner. "Here on Forest Hill - Irene Road we are so close to Highway 385 that it will vastly improve our ability to serve more clients and communities in the area."
Convenience is just part of the story. Crye-Leike's new Forest Hill location offers 16 thousand square feet of office space, almost double the 85-hundred in the former Exeter location. And now at Forest Hill, Stinson Turner anticipates being able to grow her sales team of 109 agents up to as many as 180.
"That's my goal," said Stinson Turner. "Given the fact that we've already had nine new affiliate brokers join us in the move over - I'm well on my way to reaching my goal of 180 new agents."
In addition to real estate services, the Forest Hill location will also be home to a branch of Realty Title and Escrow, Magna Bank and will have on duty a representative from Crye-Leike Insurance.
"Between now and our official Grand Opening in November, we'll have two of the familiar big red Crye-Leike, Realtors signs in place on our new location," said Stinson Turner. "We're so glad to be in the neighborhood, and look forward to serving our past clients and new clients from our new home in Germantown."
