Established in 1977 in Memphis, TN by Co-Founders Harold Crye and Dick Leike, Crye-Leike expanded into Nashville in the early 90's and has continued its expansion into eight states (Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Mississippi, Oklahoma and Tennessee) and Puerto Rico to become the third largest privately owned, independent real estate firm in the nation.

Harold E. Crye, co-founder and CEO of Crye-Leike Real Estate Services, has been named to the 2019 Swanepoel Power 200 (SP200) list, which lists the 200 most powerful leaders in the residential real estate industry.
Crye-Leike, a full service real estate company, is ranked the fifth largest independently-owned real estate firm in the nation.
The SP200 (Swanepoel Power 200) is the definitive ranking of residential real estates top leaders produced and published annually by the Swanepoel T3 Group.
"To produce the report each year we invest over 400 hours of research, hold countless internal debates, perform a deep analysis of numbers and organizational charts, and candidly question what power actually means."
Leaders are evaluated based on the office they hold, the decision-making power associated with the office, the financial resources at their disposal, their organizations industry significance and geographical reach, public announcements about imminent changes, their tenure and their personal influence in the industry.
Factors that are considered go well beyond the size and financial success of the companies they lead, with leaders being evaluated based on their personal influence, tenure, office, decision-making power, the financial resources at their disposal, their company or organization's industry significance and geographic reach, and public announcements about pending changes. The result is a list considered the definitive ranking of residential real estate's top leaders.
Crye, who co-founded Crye-Leike in 1997 in Memphis with partner and president, Dick Leike, said the listing is a reflection of the hard work and success of the more than 3,200 independent real estate agents affiliated with Crye-Leike and the more than 800 employees who support them.

"Were encouraged that the U.S. tax overhaul will help boost jobs and therefore sales in 2018 and even in to 2019. We are focused on customer service, training, retention, and prospecting. If we do a good job in those areas, the sales will follow."

Harold Crye Listed Among Top 200 Leaders in Residential Real Estate
Brentwood, Tenn. (June 2, 2017) - Harold E. Crye, co-founder and CEO of Crye-Leike Real Estate Services, has been named to the 2017 Swanepoel Power 200 (SP200) list, which lists the 200 most powerful leaders in the residential real estate industry. He was the only Tennessee-based real estate broker in the top 20.
Crye-Leike, a full service real estate company, is ranked the fifth largest independently-owned real estate firm in the nation.
The SP200 is produced and published annually by the Swanepoel T3 Group, a research and consulting firm.
"We invest over 600 hours of research, hold countless internal debates, perform a deep analysis of numbers and organizational charts, and sincerely reckon with what power actually means to produce the report each year," the company says of its annual ranking.
"We aim to hold a mirror up to the industry, reflecting residential real estate back to itself by noting who wields the most power and influence, whether by position, personal power, employee count, reputation and trajectory," said Swanepoel T3 Group CEO Stefan Swanepoel in announcing the 2017 list.
Crye, who co-founded Crye-Leike in 1997 in Memphis with partner and president, Dick Leike, said the listing is a reflection of the hard work and success of the more than 3,100 independent real estate agents affiliated with Crye-Leike and the more than 800 employees who support them.
"It is an honor to be recognized as a leader by a prestigious organization in the real estate industry because it shows we are making a difference in real estate every day," Crye said.
"We didn't set out to become the biggest real estate brokerage, just to grow by providing the best real estate sale services around, to our agents and their clients. We have become an industry leader by doing the right things the right way and never forgetting that Crye-Leike succeeds when its agents succeed. We have a good structure and a good system and we have a lot of good people."

Tennessee-based Crye-Leike Real Estate Services (www.crye-leike.com), a full-service real estate company for 40 years, is ranked the fifth largest independently owned real estate firm in the nation, according to the 2017 REAL Trends 500 ranking, and is the largest real estate company in Tennessee, Arkansas, Mississippi and the Mid-South. Headquartered in Memphis, Tenn., Crye-Leike has a network of more than 3,100 sales associates and 126 company-owned and franchised offices.
Crye-Leike Inc. Celebrates Top-Five National Ranking
Memphis, Tenn. (May 16, 2017) - Crye-Leike, Inc. is now ranked as the fifth largest independently-owned real estate firm in the nation, according to the 2017 REAL Trends 500 ranking based on Crye-Leike's 2016 sales results.
The ranking comes at a time when the company's continued growth and success has reached pinnacle milestones = its 40th anniversary and 25th year of expansion outside its Memphis, Tenn. hometown.
Established in 1977 in Memphis, Crye-Leike expanded into Nashville in 1992, the start of regional expansion that has grown the firm into the largest residential real estate firm in Tennessee, Arkansas, Mississippi and the Mid-South, and the fifth-largest independent real estate firm in the country. Crye-Leike's more than 3,100 sales associates, 800 employees and 126 company-owned and franchise offices spread across nine states generated $6.36 billion in sales volume in 2016 - its biggest year ever - and is on track to achieve the company's goal of $6.7 million in sales volume this year.
REAL Trends 500 is an annual research report produced by REAL Trends (www.realtrends.com), the source for news, research and information about the real estate brokerage industry. Its report is an independently verified compilation of the nation's leading residential real estate companies which identifies the largest and most successful residential firms in the country.
Crye-Leike ranks No. 5 on the Real Trends 500 list of Largest Independents, with 29,314 closed transaction sides in 2016. (A transaction "side" refers to the firm representing either the buyer or the seller in a real estate transaction. If both buyer and seller are represented by Crye-Leike agents, then that counts as two transaction sides.)
Crye-Leike's record sales year of $6.36 billion in 2016 was up 10.8 percent from $5.74 billion in 2015, and topped its previous best year of $6.1 billion in 2006.
CEO Harold E. Crye notes that the 10.8 percent increase in sales volume - more than double the company's goal of 5 percent growth in 2016 - came "in spite of historic inventory shortages across all regions" where the company operates. "Our proven system of support for our sales associates, the best training and adoption of the best technology is propelling Crye-Leike's growth and are why we are a market leader in all of the markets where we operate," Crye said.
Low inventory of for-sale homes in all of the markets where Crye-Leike operates didn't slow the company's growth. In 2016, Crye-Leike sales associates handled 32,834 closings across nine states, a 4.46 percent increase in the number of closings in 2015 (31,826). That's an average of 10.4 sales per agent.
"In the last few years, the national norm for many large real estate firms or franchises is from five to nine sales closed per person per year," says Steve Brown, president of Crye-Leike Residential Sales, "so in spite of our size Crye-Leike is closing high numbers per agent compared to our peer firms and franchises in the United States.
Crye-Leike's goal of $6.7 billion in sales volume this year - a 7 percent increase over 2016 - is achievable despite continued low inventory, insufficient new home construction, rising mortgage rates, and student loan debt, Crye said. "Even though we know we will face headwinds we still think that the overall economic growth, improving employment picture and more household formation all will have an overall positive impact and increase both volume and number of sales, barring an uncontrollable event in the global economic picture."

Crye-Leike Posts Record Year of $6.36 Billion in Sales
Memphis, Tenn. (February 14, 2017) Tennessee-based Crye-Leike, the nation's fourth largest privately-held residential real estate brokerage firm and the largest in Tennessee and the Mid-South, posted a record sales year of $6.36 billion in 2016, the highest sales performance in the company's 40-year history. In comparison, the company reached its peak sales performance at $6.10 billion in 2006.
Crye-Leike's $6.36 billion sales volume companywide in 2016 was up 10.8 percent from $5.74 billion through Dec. 2016. These 2016 figures represent Crye-Leike's 3,258 sales associates handling 32,834 closings within a nine-state region, a 4.46 percent increase from the 31,826 closings reported through Dec. 2015.
"Our network of over 3,200 Crye-Leike sales associates has been opening doors and connecting people to the world of homeownership for the past 40 years," says President Dick Leike. "And during that 40-year period, Crye-Leike is proud to report that we have impacted 629,148 families by helping them realize the dream of homeownership. Homeownership will continue to be one of the most sound long term investments most buyers will ever make."
Crye-Leike's 2016 sales figures include new and existing single-family homes, condos and duplexes as well as commercial properties within a nine-state regional market area (Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Mississippi, Missouri, Oklahoma, and Tennessee). Sales figures also include production from 126 company-owned and franchise offices in operation during 2016 and represent the sales volume of both listing and selling sides of a real estate transaction, which involve a buyer and a seller.
Outperformed Company Sales Goal. "In spite of historic inventory shortages across all regions in 2016, Crye-Leike was able to increase sales volume by 10.8 percent enterprise wide with a grand total of $6.36 billion in closed business, said Chief Executive Officer Harold E. Crye. "The 2016 sales goal we set for ourselves was 5 percent, so we outperformed in that respect.
Additionally, Crye-Leike's overall number of sales units increased by 4.4 percent, while many parts of the United States housing market saw decreases in the number of sales units due to the issues related to the lack of inventory, i.e., new home sales at half their norm; the 'Where do I go if I sell my house' mindset. Yet, Crye-Leike still managed to close nearly 33,000 sales," he added.
Average Sales Per Agent Increased. "Our agents have been improving their sales skills through live training events such as Ninja and national trainers and speakers at our company conferences, with the results showing up in their per person productivity," says Steve Brown, president of Crye-Leike Residential Sales. "In the last few years, the national norm for many large real estate firms or franchises is from five to nine sales closed per person per year."
Brown reported that within Crye-Leike's Central Arkansas Region, it averaged over 14 sales per agent; in Huntsville, Ala, it averaged 11.9 sales per agent; in its Memphis, Tenn. Region, 11.6 sales per agent; and in its Northwest Ark Region, it averaged 12.2 sales per agent.
"So in spite of our size, Crye-Leike is closing high numbers per agent compared to our peer firms and franchises in the United States," says Brown. "Our companys overall is 10.4 sales per agent. Although that's not bad, the areas sited are exemplary."
For 2017, CEO Crye says the company has increased its sales volume goal to $6.7 billion which is a 7 percent increase.
"Even though we know we will face headwinds of higher rates (around mid-to upper 4.5 percent); continuing shortages of new construction (lack of lots, tougher lending standards and a shortage of labor); lack of existing inventory for sale and student loan debt, we still think that the overall economic growth, improving employment picture and more household formation, will have an overall positive impact and increase both volume and number of sales," says Crye, "barring an uncontrollable event in the global economic picture."
Crye-Leike also saw a record usage of its other core services, insurance, title, relocation, property management, mortgage and home services.
"We know that consumers prefer a 'full service' company when given that choice due to the convenience, efficiency and dependable nature of completing a real estate transaction under one roof, alongside of a trusted brand, like Crye-Leike," says President Leike.

Crye-Leike Agents Rank among Arkansas' Best Real Estate Agents by REALTrends
Little Rock, Ark. (Oct. 21, 2016) - REAL Trends, the leader in ranking the performance of residential real estate firms, agents and teams in the United States, recently announced its annual America's Best Real Estate Agents list for 2016 where two Arkansas sales associates of Crye-Leike Real Estate Services, the nation's sixth largest residential real estate brokerage firm, joined its prestigious rank of an elite group of real estate agents across the country.
More than 12,000 real estate professionals from every state in the United States are featured in REAL Trends' 2016 America's Best Real Estate Agents ranking (www.AmericasBestRE.com). Among other measurements, the list ranks the most productive agents and agent teams by state based on closed transaction sides and closed volume.
To qualify for inclusion, an individual agent must have closed at least 50 transaction sides or $20 million in sales volume in 2015. For real estate agent teams, the minimum is 75 transaction sides or $30 million in closed sales volume.
Crye-Leike sales associates who were ranked the most productive agents in the state of Arkansas by REAL Trends in its list of America's Best Real Estate Agents in 2016 were: Douglas "Doug" Gibson and Travis Roe, both affiliated with Crye-Leike's Rogers branch office.
Doug Gibson ranked No. 5 in sales volume, attaining $22,399,884 in closed sales volume in 2015, which represents 77 closed transaction sides, ranking him No. 16 by transaction sides.
Travis Roe ranked No. 8 in sales volume, attaining $20,040,200 in closed sales volume in 2015, which represents 93 in closed transaction sides, ranking him No. 9 by transaction sides.
"These sales associates listed among our 2016 Americas Best Real Estate Agents are the 'best of the best,' far above average and have built enormously successful small businesses in an extremely competitive field," said Steve Murray, president of REAL Trends.
"The average residential real estate agent in the United States closed fewer than eight transactions in 2015 and had less than $1.5 million in sales," said Murray. "To say that these individuals are exceptional sales professionals is an understatement. To attain this level of sales is truly outstanding."
"We are proud of Doug Gibson and Travis Roe for being ranked among the state's top residential real estate agents," said Crye-Leike Chief Executive Officer Harold Crye. "Their ranking represents the time and effort that they put into each client that they serve and how much work it takes to build a successful real estate career. The level of sales it takes for these Crye-Leike sales associates to qualify makes this ranking a truly special recognition for them."

Crye-Leike Celebrates $700 Million Sales Increase In 2013
Many great things happened for the real estate market in 2013 including increased sales, higher home prices and less foreclosures.
According to the National Association of Realtors, even though home sales slowed down the last few months of 2013, the year as a whole ended with the best sales total in seven years.
Crye-Leike, REALTORS certainly had a good year achieving a $5.2 billion sales volume in 2013 which was a total 16% higher than 2012 when the company had a $4.5 billion sales volume. Crye-Leike's sales were up in 2013 by $700 million and its Realtors helped the company sell 30,471 properties.
Agents from Crye-Leike recently heard this good news at the company's annual kickoff meetings it holds in each of its regions to rally agents to have a productive new year. Crye-Leike Realtors also heard a market update from Crye-Leike Cofounders Harold Crye and Dick Leike who discussed how the market performed in 2013 and shared predictions of what will be seen in the 2014 housing industry.
"We're happy the real estate market continued to strengthen in 2013 and thankful to our agents for helping Crye-Leike surpass its sales goals for the year," said Harold Crye. "We set a goal to have $5 billion in sales last year and we exceeded that total. We are optimistic the market will continue to improve in 2014, but Crye-Leike is still setting an achievable goal to have $5.5 billion in sales for this year."
Crye adds, "Rising interest rates and home prices will create some challenges for the market. Because of those things, home affordability has already started to decline, but the good news is home affordability is still the best it has been in 5 years."
With Crye-Leike selling 2,406 more properties in 2013 than it did in 2012, company associates hope that 2014 will bring more increased sales.
"The recovering real estate market has helped the economy avoid another recession, but the market still faces challenges,"said Crye. "New home construction needs to be able to increase or there could be a housing shortage and job growth needs to continue improving to help more people be able to afford buying a home."
Dick Leike told the crowd, "We thank our agents for hanging tough in a tough real estate market the last several years keeping the company phones ringing. It's great to imagine how many folks Crye-Leike agents helped to put in a home last year."
Leike adds, "We also thank our agents for the terrific job they do of caring for our customers and helping Crye-Leike remain the #1 leading real estate company in the Mid-South. Homeownership is a powerful part of life and we encourage everyone to keep striving to achieve their dream of becoming a homeowner as we expect the 2014 market to once again see improvements."
Annual Crye-Leike Conference Predicts Happy Days Are Ahead For Real Estate
A 50's Happy Days theme was perfect for the Crye-Leike, REALTORS annual training conference recently held in Sandestin, Florida where agents and managers gathered to discuss the improving housing market.
Crye-Leike associates from the company's nine state southern region heard from cofounders Harold Crye and Dick Leike that the home sales volume is up for Crye-Leike 19% so far this year compared to figures from last September.
This was more great real estate news for the agents to celebrate after they heard in January that Crye-Leike also improved its home sales in 2012 achieving a $4.5 billion sales volume which was a total $700 million dollars higher than sales seen in 2011.
About 400 Crye-Leike agents and managers shared success stories and heard lots of positive news about the happier days that have been happening in the real estate market the past two years as the housing industry has been in recovery mode.
To help its agents offer outstanding customer service to their clients, Crye-Leike's 2013 company conference included lots of top-notch training seminars and guest speakers Dirk Zeller and Alex Milshteyn who are both experts working in the real estate industry.
After redefining effective techniques and learning many new innovative skills to help buyers and sellers, Crye-Leike's agents celebrated the improving housing market with lots of fun-filled activities including a talent show, sock hop dance, hula hoop contest, golf tournament, volleyball tournament, a networking vendor show and many other exciting events.
With Crye-Leike expecting to sell even more homes in 2013 than the 28,065 homes it sold in 2012, the company's Realtors remain hopeful that happy days will continue to be seen in the housing industry as they look forward to helping clients create many more, happy home buying and selling experiences.
Crye-Leike Celebrates Best Year in Sales Since 2007
More than 2,800 real estate agents from across Crye-Leike's nine-state southern region recently gathered at the company's annual kick-off meetings to celebrate the best sales Crye-Leike has seen in five years.
With the real estate market improving each month throughout the year, Crye-Leike finished 2012 strong with $4.5 billion in sales volume with agents companywide working hard to sell 28,065 properties.
"For the past few years prior to 2012, Crye-Leike had been holding steady along the 3 billion in sales mark and we couldn't meet our goal to break through and achieve 4 billion in sales," said Crye-Leike Cofounder and CEO Harold Crye. "In 2012, we were pleased to far surpass the goals we set for the year with companywide sales up nearly $700 million ahead of 2011 figures."
Crye adds, "We were happy to celebrate with our agents the best year in sales for the company since 2007 when we saw $5.7 billion in sales and since 2008 when we saw $4.2 billion in sales."
Leading Crye-Leike's annual kickoff meetings held in each region the company serves were Crye-Leike co-founders Harold Crye and Dick Leike. They offered their words of wisdom about current market conditions, congratulated agents on their sales successes of 2012 and offered their predictions for the housing industry in 2013.
"So many of our Realtors have been telling me how good their business is and all of our offices are seeing an increase in calls and sales," said Dick Leike. "In 2012, the real estate market really began to gleam with excitement again and it seems that the market has truly come out of the pits now. The market and our Realtors have a strong momentum going again and there's really no doubt in my mind that 2013 will be an even better year."
In the crystal ball segment of the program, Harold Crye offered his predictions for the 2013 housing market. He predicts the low inventory of homes for sale will continue causing price appreciation and multiple offers on homes. Crye also expects new home construction and consumer confidence will continue to rise and REO bank-owned sales will continue to decline.
Crye-Leike is also expecting sales to increase again in 2013 and the company has set a goal to achieve $5 billion in sales this year with high hopes for selling 30,000 properties. Crye believes these goals can be reached if the agents continue to possess the positive attitude and strong work ethic they used to be successful in 2012.
"We are pleased to see the smiles on our Realtor's faces as we've heard from them about market improvements and business picking up in 2012. We are also happy to see home sales and prices moving in the right direction and expect many great things to happen in the real estate industry during 2013 as the market continues to bounce back," said Crye.
According to recent reports released by the National Association of Realtors, the organization confirms that the real estate market is recovering and greatly improving. They reported that the total sales of existing homes in 2012 reached the highest level in five years, while the annual gain in prices was the biggest in eight years.
"We thank our agents for hanging tough in a tough real estate market the past few years and we wish for them to have a wonderful 2013 filled with lots of sales success," said Crye. "We also thank all of our agents for the terrific job they do of caring for our customers and helping Crye-Leike remain the #1 leading real estate company in the Mid-South."
Crye adds, "Crye-Leike encourages everyone to continue believing in their dream of homeownership and the power of homeownership. The market is improving and prices are on the rise. We expect the momentum that the real estate market saw in 2012 to continue rolling throughout 2013."

Atlanta Agents Celebrate 3.8 Billion In Sales For 2011 & 35 Years Of Unsurpassed Service
Atlanta, Georgia - Real estate agents from across Crye-Leike's Atlanta, Georgia region recently gathered an annual meeting to help the company celebrate its sales success in 2011 and 35 years of business.
Since first opening its doors in Memphis in 1977, Crye-Leike has helped thousands of buyers and sellers with all of their real estate needs offering unsurpassed service to all of their customers. The company's Georgia Realtors honored the milestone as they jumpstarted the new year of real estate sales at their regional 2012 Kick-Off meeting.
In the crystal ball segment of the program, Crye-Leike Co-founder and CEO Harold Crye offered his words of wisdom and discussed predictions for the 2012 housing market.
"The market is slowly stabilizing, and we expect sales to increase modestly as the economy gradually continues to recover," said Crye. "We expect to see more renters become buyers as rents continue to rise and mortgage rates remain at a historic low for now. We do anticipate mortgage rates will also soon be on the rise."
Crye-Leike's overall sales were good in 2011, with agents companywide helping Crye-Leike reach a final figure of $3.8 billion in sales for the year with a total of 24,470 properties sold.
"We think the market is turning the corner and real estate sales will be on the upswing in 2012," said Crye. "For the past three years, we've been holding steady along the 3 billion in sales mark, and expect to rise to $4 billion in sales for 2012. We feel like we've hit the bottom of the housing market, as we saw a surge in sales and were up in the fourth quarter last year."
Crye-Leike's Atlanta market sales in 2011 totaled $144 million from 1,008 properties sold. At this year's kick-off meeting, hundreds of Georgia agents attended the event and were awarded and applauded for their service and sales achievements in 2011.
With existing-home sales finishing on an uptrend in January and rising for the last four consecutive months, Crye-Leike's agents are excited to see the market bouncing back slowly.
These statistics were recently reported by the National Association of Realtors where Lawrence Yun, NAR chief economist, explains how the housing market is improving. He said, "Strong gains in contract activity in recent months show buyers are responding to very favorable market conditions. The uptrend in home sales is in line with all of the underlying fundamentals - pent-up household formation, record-low mortgage interest rates, bargain home prices, sustained job creation and rising rents."

"We thank all of our agents for the terrific job they do of caring for our customers, of helping us build a great company reputation, and for sticking with us through these tough times," said Crye. "We wish our agents a successful 2012 as we encourage everyone to keep believing in their dreams of homeownership."

Realtors Look For Home Sales In Cleveland To Heat Up In 2011
CLEVELAND, TN., - Crye-Leike, REALTORS finished strong in 2010 attaining a sales volume of $3.85 billion with 24,260 homes sold as Crye-Leike's Cleveland Realtors are eager to continue contributing to the company's success while jumpstarting 2011 with high hopes for the local housing market this year.
"While some companies have been struggling and hanging-on through these tough times Crye-Leike has been retooling and has rolled out an assortment of new technologies and strategies to offer our buyers the greatest search capabilities and the best online property showcase for our sellers," said Jo Organ, Crye-Leike Cleveland Managing Broker.
Organ adds, "We have great faith in the Cleveland housing market and economy this year thanks to the recent additions and expansions of other local powerhouse companies including Amazon, Olin, Volkswagen, Wacker and Whirlpool. These companies are true movers and shakers that we believe will add jobs, heat up the market and have a dramatic, optimistic impact on our local economic climate."
Crye-Leike's Cleveland office is starting off 2011 under the continued leadership of Managing Broker Jo Organ who is busy promoting the opportunities in the market right now for buyers and sellers. She's also very eager to attract new talent to her team and boost their presence in the community.
"I am very excited about the future and look forward to growing our company's market share," said Organ. "My bottom line is to help our agents succeed and in doing so that will help our sellers and buyers realize their own personal success."
With a hard working and dedicated sales team, Organ and her fellow associates take great pride in helping people buy and sell real estate.
"We have some of the most experienced and dedicated real estate professionals in the market with us here at Crye-Leike Cleveland," said Organ. "I have agents who have worked in the industry for 40 years - like myself - and three with more than 30 years. There's a wealth of experience and knowledge here."
With residential mortgage interest rates remaining low and with an ample inventory of properties to choose from, Crye-Leike Cleveland agents say 2011 is shaping up to be a great year to buy, sell and invest in the future value of real estate.
The Cleveland office boasts a sales force of more than 40 associates many of them ranking as continuous top producers for the company. Crye-Leike's Cleveland Realtors are strong supporters of the River Counties Association of REALTORS (RCAR) and recently attended the association's end of year gathering. Because of the many tough times Realtors have faced in the market over the past several years, the RCAR decided its end of year membership meeting for 2010 would be different and something really special. Instead of the historical dress-up dinner they decided to hold a ?Survivor Celebration". This was to be casual and fun - celebrating the fact that all those in attendance had actually survived in the business.
The RCAR Board of Directors asked that offices form teams to compete in games and come up with team names. Crye-Leike's Cleveland and Athens Realtors put their heads together and created a team calling themselves The Crye-Leike-Ables. The team name was accepted with 100% enthusiasm and Crye-Leike's Marketing Department designed a logo the Realtors could display proudly.
The Crye-Leike-Ables Team, made an outstanding presence adorned in their red shirts, black pants and logo badges carrying signs they created to show team spirit. Their outstanding efforts won the team the first "Survivor Celebration Award" from the RCAR for 2010.
After enduring many difficult days working in the real estate profession over the last few years, Crye-Leike's Cleveland Agents consider themselves proud survivors of the industry. They decided to continue using their successful team name in their marketing plans which is a great conversation starter to explain the company name to people who ask, ?how do you say that'?
Crye-Leike's Cleveland Realtors are still calling themselves the Crye-Leike-Ables who say now is a great time to buy or sell. They like helping clients with all of their real estate needs and they stand ready, willing and able to assist even more buyers and sellers in 2011 as they offer some helpful tips for anyone considering a move or purchase:
BUYING A HOME
Select a Real Estate Professional - Selecting a Real Estate Professional to assist you with the home buying process is VERY important. Because buying a home is one of the largest and most important purchases you will make in your lifetime you should always consult a real estate professional to assist you. Our sales associates have the expertise, experience and education to help you make good, sound home purchasing decisions. You will work together to find the right home. Your sales associate will notify you when new properties come on the market. He/She can schedule showings, advise you on the real estate process, help you write offers, negotiate terms and coordinate inspections.
Get Pre-Approved/Apply for a Loan - It's important to get a loan officer to pre-approve your mortgage before you start house hunting. A pre-approval is a guarantee that you can qualify for financing to a maximum purchase price and loan amount. This means you can write a stronger purchase offer. In a competitive market, this could mean the difference between acceptance of your offer rather than another buyer's offer. When you apply for a loan, be sure to get a good faith estimate of your closing costs.
Find the Right Home - Search the Internet for property available for sale. You and your Real Estate Agent will search for homes together. Your agent can guide you to the areas you like best. Have fun looking and shopping!
Make an Offer - Once you've found the right home, it's time to write an offer to purchase. Writing the offer is an exciting, emotional and complicated experience. You'll be glad you have an experienced Crye-Leike sales associate at your side to help you through the process.
Order a Home Inspection - A professional home inspection is essential. A professional home inspector sees beyond the cosmetics and surveys the entire house, including structure, roof, exterior and major systems (heating, plumbing, cooling, electrical, ventilation, etc.)
Attend Closing Day - Congratulations, you will soon become a homeowner! Crye-Leike's full service continues right through to the closing day. At the closing, you will settle all the financial details, the title to your new home will be conveyed and usually you will receive the keys to your new home.
SELLING A HOME
Crye-Leike's one-stop-shopping concept and innovative marketing programs makes it easy for you to sell your home for the best price.
Proper Pricing: Your property will generate the most attention and showings in the first weeks it's on the market. For the best results, you should list it at a realistic price right from the beginning. If your price is too high relative to the competition, the right buyers will not even look at an otherwise attractive property - particularly during the critical stage of initial market exposure. Setting the right price before you list is critical to getting the most for your property and selling it quickly. Having a professional with experience in your neighborhood prepare a Competitive Market Analysis (CMA) gives you the facts and insights to set the right price
Showing Your Home: With a little effort, your home can be sold more quickly and at a better price. Here are 5 ways to show your home at it's best.
First Impressions Are Lasting...
The front door greets the prospect. Make sure it is fresh, clean and scrubbed looking. Keep lawn trimmed and edged, and the yard free of refuse. Be sure walks and steps are free from debris, snow and ice.
2. Decorate for a Quick Sale...
Faded walls and worn woodwork reduce appeal. Why try to tell the prospect how the home could look, when you can show him by redecorating? A quicker sale at a higher price will result. An investment in new kitchen wallpaper will pay dividends.
3. Let The Sun Shine In...
Open draperies and curtains and let the prospect see how cheerful your home could be. (Dark rooms do not appeal.)
4. Fix the Faucet!
Dripping water discolors the sink & suggests faulty plumbing.
5. Repairs Can Make A Big Difference...
Loose knobs, sticking doors and windows, warped cabinet drawers and other minor flaws detract from home value. Have them fixed.
Home Warranties: Home warranties are very useful, whether you are buying or selling a home. A home warranty policy will pay for the cost of fixing and, if necessary, replacing many systems including heating, cooling, electrical, plumbing, water heaters, ovens, refrigerators, etc. The policy offers coverage against normal damage and is for a set period of time, usually one year. In some cases ceiling fans, pools and even roofs can be warranted.

CRYE-LEIKE, REALTORS HOLDS ITS RANKING IN 2008 AS THE NATIONS 4TH LARGEST REAL ESTATE FIRM
BRENTWOOD, TN., - Crye-Leike, REALTORS remains the nation's 4th largest real estate firm based on the 2008 Real Trends 500 survey results. The ranking comes from a survey of the top 500 Real Estate brokers in the U.S. based on the total number of closed transactions in 2007.
This the second consecutive year Crye-Leike, REALTORS has landed in the Real Trends rankings at the 4th place position. Co-Founders Harold Crye, CEO and Dick Leike, President hand much of the credit to the loyal customers and sales associates.
"We are honored by the support of our clients who count on us when the market gets tricky, so based on that loyalty we're thrilled to maintain our 4th place position on the Real Trends list," said company Co-Founder and CEO Harold Crye. "Considering the uncertainty in the U.S. housing market, we're pleased with our success and consider it a great accomplishment thanks to our loyal clients, new clients and our fantastic sales associates, managers and office support staff."
Harold Crye and Co-Founder and President Dick Leike hand much of the credit to the company's sales team throughout the eight state southern region served by Crye-Leike. Leike says associates did a great job of reminding buyers and sellers that the national news media's reports and statistics were not an accurate reflection of what was happening in their local markets.
"We certainly believe the psychological impact of the national news reports had an impact on our sales in 2007, but in the majority of our markets homes values were either flat or slightly up which was contrary to what the media was reporting," said Leike. "Our 4th place ranking is a reflection of how our experienced and dedicated sales force can make things happen regardless of what's happening nationally."
"We'd like to think that our clients and their friends consider us first because we're a company that's been there," said Crye. "When the market gets tricky we have the tools like a huge web presence to showcase property and relocation services to pull more buyers into our seven-day-a-week appointment center to sell more homes than our competitors."
In 2007, Crye-Leike, REALTORS dominated its closest competitors in the majority of the markets it serves. Many of its sales associates in turn remained among the top-producing Realtors across the southern U.S. region served by the company.
"One of our biggest challenges as we head into the 2nd quarter of 2008 is to assure the public that property values in our markets have not fallen off," said Crye. "When you consider the large selection of listed property and the many financing options available, especially the revamped FHA where three percent down can get you into a home, this housing market remains a perfect time to buy."
Crye-Leike, REALTORS now offers its clients One Source. Mortgage, insurance, home warranty and title closings in addition to its real estate services, providing clients with the most convenient, efficient and reliable One Source value available. For your real estate needs, personal referrals and to locate a Crye-Leike, REALTORS Associate near you go to www.crye-leike.com.
"We know service is the #1 quality people look for in a Realtor and we feel this is what's kept us in first place with buyers and sellers in the markets we serve," said Leike. "Our associates are the best trained and most qualified real estate professionals out there and they are uniquely capable of managing the home buying or selling experience so their clients can focus on achieving their dreams.

Having a professional with experience in your neighborhood prepare a Competitive Market Analysis (CMA) gives you the facts and insights to set the right price.
Showing Your Home: With a little effort, your home can be sold more quickly and at a better price. Here are 5 ways to show your home to its best.
One-stop shopping continues with a host of ancillary services available to round out your buying/selling experience. As part of the Crye-Leike family your loan is personally attended by the staff of Magna Bank, on closing day Realty Title is there to guide you through the process to becoming a homeowner and protecting your new home is easy with Crye-Leike Insurance. At the end of the day you'll be glad you chose Crye-Leike, Realtors for your one stop shopping real estate needs.
