6 Ways to Transform Your Bonus Room
1. Classroom
If your kids will be doing virtual schooling this year, now is the perfect time to turn your bonus room into their own classroom. Not only will it give your children a sense of normalcy, but it will be super fun to decorate as well. The key to making your own classroom is to use plenty of storage and keep things organized. Shop around for a desk, add some cubbies, put up some educational posters and voila, you have a classroom!
2. Home Office
Your kids are not the only ones who need their own workspace. Having a designated room for your home office will make the best work-from-home experience. There are plenty of ways to spruce up your home office, but you ultimately want to create a place where you can focus and be productive.
3. Home Gym
Don't want to pay for a gym membership or weekly studio classes? Make your bonus room a space for getting healthy. You do not have to spend a ton of money on equipment if you search around sell/swap pages and take advantage of store sales. Having this space can be great for those who do not have the time to travel to a gym or attend long workout classes.
4. Home Theater
Create a cozy space for your family to watch movies together. Mount a large flat screen TV, or even use a classic projector to screen your favorite films. With a countless number of streaming services at our fingertips, and the perfect setup at home, you might never have to go to the real movie theater again.
